I think of it this way, the more extravagant in an EX the less inclined he'll be to go overboard in the SP and LP. He does need an outlet somewhere.

Give me all the drama (but seriously, I don't think it'll be that out there, the music isn't that 'large' so I think it'll be fine).

Purely from a selfish point of view, I'm really glad Hanyu did so well in the free skate. It means it's pretty much a certainty Eurosport will show his FS in the Skate Canada recap program tomorrow, with commentary, and I'm pretty confident the EX will be shown in the recap program tonight, as well (it doesn't get aired live, at least not on television; the stream offers the full EX, of course, but that's without commentary).
Or in other words, pretty HD on television. No matter how brilliant the streams are, nothing beats that for me. Plus, maybe the British and Dutch commentators have a few nice things to say about him again.

He doesn't want everyone in the audience and behind their screens to die, so he settled for the Swan GA? No. Too much. Too much. I couldn't take it. That combination would finish me off. This is better. Not that we won't be dying anyway but it might be less drastic this way...
