I'd be happy too. This was the first performance, I think, where he probably felt more like himself after all the months off ice/rehab etc.. the other comps were ok, but this one was more, what would he probably say, " the real yuzuru hanyu. " Initially during the summer he wasn't sure he would be able to compete in the GP series, and now to get over 300? Yup, a big smile on the face!!!

Yessss I am actually really happy with the result? He got season's best and he still has personal room to grow without having to worry about WR. I hope this means he would peak at the right time God Pleaseeeee

Yes! He also lost 7 points base value based on the 4S FALL + REP alone and the doubled sal cost him another 3 points only on the BV too. A few lvl 3s and he has not max his GOE (I think it is ok because his 4Lo is not on his prime yet). I think he made his statement here and I do hope whatever strategy they are doing will work for the later season + the next season. The most important to me is Yuzuru himself looks satisfied with his score and he looks really really happy? That's all that matters to me

Congratulations! So happy he could reach that magic 300 sum- that was a great gift for the home crowd! Great skate today, a very artistic one. Amazing performance! Hope he builds his stamina to reach higher results later in the season. Can't wait for his stellar exhibition program!

Ahh I'm so happy that he's so happy! I think that's the happiest I've ever seen him at the medal ceremony! Couldn't stop smiling the whole time once he landed the 4 Loop. Getting the 4 quads in really meant a lot to him and he has improved the FS so much already after SC. I can't wait to watch it again without being so nervous. There were so many changes here and there!

Yes, his WR TES is 118.87 and here it's 106.06. It's actually really high with all the problems when looked at in this way. And he had a 5 PCS higher result there too, so at this point in the season, and considering everything, such a smashing job he did!
And yes, the best moment for me was how pleased and happy he was there at the end. That'll carry him forward.

Jackie Wongthink that Yuzuru will actually get a higher score that Javier for a moment. But even though he didn't surpass Javier FS score he's still the first one to get with 300+ score. Good Job Yuzu :agree:
