His English is really improving ^0^ And his smile is so adorable! On the other hand you can really see how flimsy the medal is when he shows it in the beginning... :noshake:

Apparently so, yes. Seems to be a growing trend there, I think. I'd never heard of open gala practice, but wasn't it open at NHK, too? (though there probably because it was on the same morning as the ice dance fd).

There was video of the practice but it was official tv footage. Skate Canada had open gala practice because I remember the Yuzu/Evgenia jump offs and video of her sneaking glances at him.

his layouts alway were the best technically but also tactically, it was very flexible in the past, but this time placement of quad combo is just huge weak point
I am sure if he had done combo on 1st sal he would have landed 2nd one solo because he would have been more relaxed going into it


two weeks and nationals come, we will see what happens

Laugh He's won so we can giggle at it. Hopefully they can sort that out by ... the 22nd? I think. But it is so very him!

I just watch the FS for 2nd time without being drowsy (FS was at 3am here) and I must say he did well in the 1st half until that fall then it started to falter which didn't happened at NHK where he fell at the same element so it might be all mental reasons which I'm sure he would fix by JN. But what's obvious in both SP and FS is that his spin and steps are much more faster and precise, huge improvement for just a two weeks different.

Also just wanted to say how cute he sounded in Press Conference SP where he called out to Patrick who walk away too early~ calling him back like Patriiiicckkk~~ Patriiiicckkk~~~~

I can't recall where I saw it exactly but it was a fancam and she had a white wrap around her head at the time.

They appear to respond on social media, like with that fiasco when that Chinese reporter claimed Yuzu URed his loop at NHK trophy. They responded pretty swiftly too.

Unable to watch his FS until now. To be honest, I enjoyed it very much especially for his longer Ina Bauer and other added little choreography. Maybe it's because I already lowered down my expectation before watching it
I really love his FS and do hope to see a clean one someday as it already a art peace for me now and a clean one would be like a dream

I do love his longer Ina Bauer as it really could express more deeper emotional things along with music to me.

And I was like: "Do more crossovers Yuzuru, no one give you enough credits for using the LEAST crossovers in the field."

I enjoyed the longer ina bauer too since it leaves a bigger impression
hopefully he can fix what he can between now and nationals and then the rest before worlds. (That second 4S combo grrr)
