FAVORITE COSTUMES
1. Phantom of the Opera 2.0 - I don't get why people dislike this because IMO he never looked better haha, with the hair and the face and how well it fit him. It's not my favorite program artistically, but definitely my guilty pleasure Yuzuru program to watch.
1 (Tied). Seimei - Tied for #1, absolutely regal-looking.
3. Hello I Love You - :love: :luv17:
4. Parisienne Walkways 2.0 - It's hard to decouple this from his AMAZING short program, but I like how almost casual this is, except with sparkles :biggrin:
5. Romeo & Juliet 1.0 - Looks very Romeo-esque, and 17 year old Yuzu looked and acted the part very well :biggrin:
6. Let's Go Crazy 1.0 - I know it blends with the ice, but I liked this version a lot, whereas the new one bothers me because the pants and shirt don't really match.
7. Chopin 1.0 - Beautiful shirt and beautiful, underrated program IMO.

WORST COSTUMES
1. Final Time Traveller - This one is just so...WHY...even when he looks good I won't repost any images with this costume :hopelessness:
2. Vertigo - No. Just no.
3. Requiem - Pretty sure he couldn't look more cabbage-like if he tried :hopelessness:
4. Notte Stellata - Too girly, even for me, and I'm a girl :hopelessness

Honorable mention: Romeo & Juliet 2.0 - I can just imagine Yuzu telling Johnny, "I want a giant piece of ruffle across the chest here...then below that, I want lace...and above that, I want jewels of all different colors and sizes...and on one sleeve I want a snake made of jewels, and on the other sleeve I want illusion mesh so it looks like half of my sleeve is gone...and then I want illusion mesh to my neck. Kthnx." But the Olympic Gold medal around his neck makes it all the better :laugh:

Hey he was one good-looking cabbage XD I thought he photographed really well in that outfit and under gala lighting, actually.

I just watched his old interviews with Shizuka Arakawa... and combined with his GPF press conference answer on 4A, I really think he will stick around no matter what after Olympics to try and get 4A down. He sounds like he really wants it. Actually I had a dream (nightmare?!) last night with him skating some random SP and he decided on the spot to turn his 3A into 4A. I was so gripped with fear that I woke before the landing :roll9:

mine:
1. Seimei (ice shows version): while I like the competition version also, the ice shows one is still my favorite :love:
2. Chopin (both versions): I love the colors and the elegance
3. R&J1: such a special costume, and also the details and the costume in general is beautiful
4: Hana ni nare: the costume is beautiful and feminine, love it. This is actually the only EX costume I love from him.
5: Etude.

In general I don't dislike his costumes. Most of the times when he shows his costumes for the first time I go "what on earth is that???" but he always manages to look good on them so I give it a pass and appreciate them. I have a harder time with his EX costumes lol.

I do like how in the SP that year the B.Esp people already predicted he was going to be the finest figure skater in history :laugh:

I think it's quite amazing that they predicted his greatness all the way back in Yuzu's Junior days during junior worlds 2009

I recently rewatched Yuzu's win at the 2013 GPF, and it was as I remembered—a complete shift of momentum. Patrick was no longer invincible. So no, I don't think so.

Yeah, that would qualify for somewhere in the top three of not-pretty costumes for me. Almost, *almost* makes me glad I missed seeing this live in The Hague. I mean, blingies? Yes. But black-ish, and just that? Nope. Just, no.
Also, the Woody costume, which I thankfully only know from a couple of photos... that definitely ranks in the top three, too.

It's one of my favorites. :slink: But I'll freely admit to being extremely biased, I love that song to death (as I love just about every single Japanese RPG music piece out there, especally theme songs like this one). My perception of things tend to depend greatly on the music used; if I like that, chances are I'll enjoy the rest, too.

Speaking of costumes, in the main forum there's a thread about how blue costumes have been lucky (Yuna, Yuzu, Tara, etc) and green is considered unlucky :slink: :noshake:

I don't mind that costume. His FP costume was way worse, IMO. At least this one he's like a mini rockstar, so cute :laugh:

I'd like to take that SP black costume away from him and rip off every single blingy and distribute it across all the other costumes he's ever had. I'm sure there are a few spots left on the other costumes where a nice shiny black-ish blingy would fit well. But just a black shirt with blingies, combined with black pants, is a bit... too black for me, I guess.
