My stream lagged a lot, but general impression:

Mentions that he hasn't won 4CC before, would like to add that title.
That he hasn't been to 4CC for a while, so usually it's Nationals and WC with a longer time in between. Something about having to maintain competition form longer? <-- this part I'm not sure.
4CC being at the same time of season and same rink, it's good preview.
Seems like not much time from now to Olympics, if cut into segments by competitions. He's focusing on practice that turns out results in competition?

He talked about 4CC is in same rink as Olympics So he wants to use this opportunity to adjust his condition
he never won 4CC so he will try his best to win the title, He said he hasn't went to shrine this year although going to shrine is important but he think what's more important is he needs to make it by himself. and everything is under his control so far... 1 year till Olympicss So he wants to make most use of this year to reach his goal
apart from these nothing much not known already

did he wear some device on his torso? tape? padding? or just odd wrinkle?

He wears it in practice sometimes and I don't think there's been confirmation on what it is exactly but its likely a sports monitor of some kind. For heart rates, breathing, etc.

His kids look up to Yuzu and want to become like Hanyu-kun~ The youngest one is too young to put into skating shoes yet, but Oda still shows him videos of Yuzu skating. Adorables.

Because it's not I don't think Yuzu can look ugly unless they put a paper bag over his head. Even then, his inner beauty will find a way to shine through

I think he looks older in his non-skating photos, actually. In skating photos, he still looks kind of baby-faced.
