Thank you for all your hard works, in giving Yuzuru his birthday wishes from all of his fans around the world.
And if Japan ever need a new UN ambassador, I think he will be a good candidate (70 countries wow).

he said that his fans are increasing in number but I never thought that he will have that so much fan in just a matter of a very short time! His parisienne walkways (and may his R&J2) really make you like him and FS. His flirty movementsare really effective, at least that's the case for me . Honestly, until now I haven't found anyone that can make me forget Parissiene Walkway. And every time I am watching some skater use R&J music, I just can't concentrate on the skater's routine. Because all I can think of is Yuzu's R&J (whether it is R&J1or2:love:). Like in case of Han Yan and Marin, thought Han Yan has a somehow different music cut. But for me only Yuzuru can be ROMEO :)

If he isn't a legend yet (I think an argument could be made for it), he is fast approaching it and will be soon. If he wins Olympic gold again there is no question about it.

I liked that video with the koi dance practice, lol. I find it great to see Jeff Buttle get so into it. He is at a disadvantage compared to the skaters who at least have watched the show, but I'm sure he watched and picked it up pretty quickly in order to adapt it to the ice, lol. The video of them doing it in the show is great too. I am glad they found something to have so much fun with.

Jeff Buttle choreographed the on-ice version for them, no? I want to see Team Japan do a number together at 4CC or WTT, something like that. :hap57:

I find it adorable how Takahashi said even tho Yuzuru looks cute and boyish, yet his personality is very manly and "carnivorous" xD I read somewhere that if Oda and Yuzuru were to do pairs, Yuzuru would only want to play the guy in the pair.

Our ice dance dilemma is solved guys. Yuzu wants to be the guy :D

Is Yuzuru at legend status yet? What else would he have to do to make a massive mark in history?

It's subjective to people right. I'm sure he is to Japanese skating already as first OGM, etc, etc, etc.
His world-record breaking performances is surely legendary, to be watched for years to come. To me, he's definitely already left a mark on figure skating, and he's a major force pushing men's single forward. In performing as well as he did, he's pushed his perspective of what figure skating can look like. I think the amount of attention, the number of fans he has.... quite historic. "Yuzupalooza", rain of pooh, youtube views, tumblr's boyfriend... So at the moment, he's a force in terms of influence and power too. To some extent "legendary status" maybe depends on how he retires/ what he does afterwards too. Will he continue to be a force of influence to the field, lending his popularity to ice shows, etc?

He's my living legend :hap10: I'm sorry I didn't pay attention until 2015, but I'm glad I caught on before he retired :)

I agree! He is a living legend in deed. Can you believe for a figure skater whose fans are all of the world? That is our Yuzuru! :eeking::love::luv17:

If it was any better, I would've believed that they robbed Yuzu and stole the actual costume

Everyone's so talented with their fanart/creations, I feel so lacking lol

I loved the phantom red costume... so much memories! what a talent! Hey, if i could robe Yuzuru, I would stole him, not a costume. :yahoo:

Welcome to new members. I have already read all the pages and I am reading again, for me it was a fun reading and a great learning space about this sport.

I can not think of Yuzu's retirement. At this point, I prefer to enjoy every thousandth of a second with the real and exciting gift we are having with it. I am praying, praying and praying for him to remain healthy, be very happy and fulfill all your dreams and goals. I'm very happy with what he accomplished so far, but he did not stop. He wants more and better. Yuzu is always aware of his time. Time ... Time is passing by so fast, so every second of your competitive time is precious and unforgettable. In the very distant future, when he is satisfied and makes his farewell bow, we will have a grand collection with thousands of pages to remember the fantastic trajectory of our incredible boy and we will be happy and proud for all his deeds.

It's fun to watch him talk to himself. Sorry if it has already been posted.
