I'm dreadfully embarrassed to admit I didn't know what that button did  I usually just copy-pasted them
Alia, thank you so much for the effort of gathering all those birthday wishes for Yuzu! I'm sure he will be very happy to see them
And aren't we a little over four weeks away from 4 CC? The date to see him compete again is drawing nearer and nearer :cheer:

Don't be embarrassed xibsuarz. I have no idea how to use them at all and have never quoted anything in my life on here, lol!! There, cathartic to admit that!!

And geez, still a month away from 4CC? At least I"ll have Can/US Nats to take up some time next week.... I think Yuzu just might be paying close attention to those competitions since he's here right now...

so since we're running low on actual news, I'm just gonna go with OT stuff :roll9: but I want to believe that our little fanboy would agree that my new favorite Japanese choir is extremely awesome :luv17: (indulge me just for the moment, ok :palmf: I'm substituting obsessions to survive the drought)

Your wish and news appeared  Voila a short sum up:

Sooo
Morning newspapers are quoting shirota, it seems she represented Yuzuru at Asahi big sport award.
"Recovery from flu took pretty long time, he spent new year with his family in Sendai, then he flew to Canada. Now he is with shae lynn cleaning choreo details and working on his jump entries, he doesn't have worries (regrets) about nationals, doesn't look back and is fully concentrated on 4cc.. getting in shape ...I think he is having good training and upping his level for 4cc well".

According to this news article
Statement from Shirota-san, ANA Skating director : Yuzuru departed to Canada to go back to training on January 7th and currently working with Shae-Lynn Bourne to brush up the choreography of his program. He is preparing for 4CC. His recovery from the flu and pharyngitis took longer and he could not move for a while, but he was able to spend New Year with his family in Sendai. :)
(I google trans it but the info was quite clear from it. But if anyone want to properly translate, it would also be appreciated) :)

EDIT : LOL Aren't we all hungry or his news

If I may add to the above infos: the brush up of the choreography involves entries (or entry) into his jumps (or jump). (Japanese language doesn't always differentiate between plural and singular)

There is no such thing as substituting obsessions
oh you don't know me at all :roll9: I have enough crazy in me to accommodate several obsessions

Your wish and news appeared
Maybe I should talk nonsense more often if it can make things appear

well at least we got reassured that he's doing well and is in good hands  sounds like he at least gave himself enough time to cure the stupid flu completely

Oh no, i have many obsessions too. But there is no such thing like "substituting Yuzuru" ask narcissa hahahahaha!

So I'm stuck thinking that Yuzurus health issue are there to even the odds for the other skaters.
The skating gods decided to give us a gift called Yuzuru Hanyu, but in the spirit of fair play decided to give him bad luck with health, from time to time.
One healthy and fit Yuzuru on the ice, well ... (se world records).
So please skating god, let this be it for this season and the next or we might loose the wonderful gift you have given us.

I don't know how much longer i can survive without news about the space kitty...
You just got some an hour ago! don't get too greedy. The universe might take it personal and kick you in the butt for it (and it will probably take away your ball of yarn so no more playing with the space kitten.) don't mind me, I'm back to talking nonsense

Please rest assured that God will take care of Yururu. My understanding is that he has Asthma since his childhood, and regardless of the health issue he won the Olympic Gold Medal. He is capable to overcome many obstacles, for he said he is not afraid of any difficulties that make him stronger.
