Morning newspapers are quoting shirota, it seems she represented Yuzuru at Asahi big sport award.
"Recovery from flu took pretty long time, he spent new year with his family in Sendai, then he flew to Canada. Now he is with shae lynn cleaning choreo details and working on his jump entries, he doesn't have worries (regrets) about nationals, doesn't look back and is fully concentrated on 4cc.. getting in shape ...I think he is having good training and upping his level for 4cc well".

Statement from Shirota-san, ANA Skating director : Yuzuru departed to Canada to go back to training on January 7th and currently working with Shae-Lynn Bourne to brush up the choreography of his program. He is preparing for 4CC. His recovery from the flu and pharyngitis took longer and he could not move for a while, but he was able to spend New Year with his family in Sendai.
(I google trans it but the info was quite clear from it. But if anyone want to properly translate, it would also be appreciated)

If I may add to the above infos: the brush up of the choreography involves entries (or entry) into his jumps (or jump). (Japanese language doesn't always differentiate between plural and singular)

Something of that variety... though I don't know if it's thaaat clearly cheesy. The Ghana chocolate press conferences felt a little cheesy to me too, but I don't think it's meant to be? Though it's not like the commentators will say anything else~ I hate that costume but I still can't help swooning at the smile. When they said "it's a special costume made for the CM, and there's only one of it", my immediate thought was "thank god"

If anyone is interested about the chronological events leading to Japan's rise in the international stage in FS, it is a pretty nice one to read. Mentions of Yuzuru quite a lot here too. There is a bit of incorrect factual bits though but that's ok. Overall I agree with the main point of the article, depth of field is necessary for the development of sport in the country.

First time i see it, other fancam usually shoot javi's fs. How sweet of him to stay and cheer javi. I think he did it too at 2015 gpf until his team and organizer ushered him to the back, to have interview i think. In 2014 he cheered for voronov too after his short. lol, white haired cameraman followed him everywhere. His reaction sbs is relief for gpf mess.
And I wonder if he become coach in the future

I forget when it is but he doesn't directly those words. If I remember correctly he says that he is too lazy to understand foreign language. So I interpret that as he prefer Japanese girls over foreigner because he don't want to learn her language. But if a foreign girl learn Japanese it's a different story I guess.
