I think teeannroo is talking about the knee slide right before the final spin. I can't exactly say why, but I've seen many skaters do it as part of their choreography and have no deductions with it. I think because it's very clear it's an intentional move.

it's obvious that it's part of the choreography. and it's not like his butt touches the ice.

He doesn't had a deduction because he didn't actually fall on that 4Lo. But instead, his 4Lo was being counted as a downgraded jump.

Teeannroo asking about the knee slide. A -1 deduction is when butt touch the ice in the case of a fall. His butt did not touch the ice when doing this knee slide. Regarding the Requeim Ex, Sydney already answered above, Kurt does not fancy lettuce costume that's why he jokingly said that .

Trying to figure out why you suddenly talking about 4Lo :scratch2:. Which post are you answering to? 4Lo in which competition are you talking about? If at GPF, the 4Lo in SP was fully rotated and landed. As the landing is not great he got minus GOE. Here is the protocol for the SP.

I think he/she talk about the knee landing of the 4Lo during SC sp ^^.

i thought it was the his opening 4lo in SC that Yuzu landed in one knee...

I don't know how he can't love those costumes, but anyway... I like Kurt ever since he said that his favourite moment at NHK 2012 was when Yuzu fell on his flying spin in the LP and stood up and continued with a huge smile. :-) I won't forget that.

I was asking about the knee slide during the guitar solo but thank you for all the information (I haven't watched SC yet since I've heard he didn't do so well) ^_^
...so I'm guessing if his but touched the ground during the knee slide he would get a deduction??

(And I'm a she ^_^)

The butt doesn't need to touch the ice for it to be counted as a fall. If the skater's body weight is not under him, it counts as a fall. For example, Javier fell on his 3A in the SP at the GPF, but he hung on with his hands and his butt never touched the ice, still counted as a fall. Yesterday at US Nats Kaitlin Hawayek had some trouble getting up from a connecting move, she used her hand as support, still counted as a fall. Even Yuzu himself, that knee slide after the 4Lo at SC did count as a fall in the FS.
