Ohhh yes! when I'm about to do something that's particularly stressful or scary but that i know i HAVE to do, i say できる!できる!できる!

How it will look like....added on the landing  to that 4Lz (the one at ice show with Plushy) :points:

Japanese 4CC cm, Yuzu said "It's the true era of quads." (translated by Angelica Yuzu @YHIFG FB)

Yes, 真4回転時代 - Shin Yon-kaiten Jidai

There are many "shin" in Japanese

真 true
新 new
神 God
心 heart, mind
芯 core
信 believe
清 clean, pure
親 parent, familier, close

and more.

Yuzuru confirmed it is 真 true.

(In the movie, "Shin Godzilla", it was made vague. Sorry, off topic. It was a minor boom in Japan to put "shin" before something for some time after release of the movie.)

Would protocol show 4A << with two carrots from Amano?

From anyone, I think. Half a rotation short is a downgrade.

This video is a year and half old or so, I wonder if he has improved on it. Didn't Brian said he landed it once on a gala practice?

😱?! i want to see him land it at least one in a competition 💔 I'm so greedy!

Yes Yuzuru land one after the Olympics even with two Amano carrots.
Yuzuru is the type who always falls if the jump is short. So if he doesn't fall, the jump is fully rotated.

Having said that, I don't think he will be careless to go for 4A before Olympic. The jump is too dangerous for anyone and it's not practical to train it now.

I don't think anyone will be able to land 4A in competition, though.

Lol definitely.

Anyway, out of curiosity, is shin amano still affiliated with cricket club?

Shin Amano is /was affiliated with TCC. May you explain what does it mean and when did the affiliation start ?
thanks in advance!:)

And to be honest, I'm greedy - I want as many different Yuzu programs as I can get :p

According to a person who read Brian's new book on Twitter, that they aren't planning to repeat LGC nor HL for Olympic season. Although I'd be greedy for as many programs as possible while he's still competing as well, I was thinking LGC wouldn't have been a bad choice. Yuzu showed that he can do rockstar, it gets the crowd excited, etc. Plus, if he decides to up technical content, then it's one less thing he has to worry about if the song stays the same... Supposedly, they didn't originally intend to keep PW for another season either, but just that nothing better came along and so they stuck with it? Let's see how it turns out.

Yeah I have heard that he might not repeat any of the current programs for Olympic. But we shall see.

Anyway, I am watching over and over again all the top ladies's toe loop in the 3-3 combo, most of them turn the toe pick quite a lot when they vault themselves up for the second jump. No wonder they are doing 3-3 so consistently.

Then I watch Yuzuru: https://68.media.tumblr.com/60f6971a5cd9b850525798ae69f8a00e/tumblr_oh81uz1Vbb1tv8i85o3_400.gif

His 3T in the 4-3 combo is crazy!! His toe pick just picks down on the ice without no pre-rotation. Most ladies pre-rotate like 220-270 degree, even many men pre-rotate a lot. But Yuzuru just... slams his toe pick down and up.

^ He's also going so fast from the 4S into the 3T, with beautifully still arms and upper body. He's all jumping with his legs
And then look at how backwards he lands! Basically, that 3T has probably more rotation in the air than some qauds :p

Yes, LGC would have been a great choice. I'm sure it would have been super popular with the non-FS fans too, and it's super entertaining even if you have no idea about the technical stuff. But then, I'm sure Yuzu will make great choices anyway. I was dead sure he'd never top Chopin + Seimei, and here we are. I love his new programs just as much! And regarding the technical stuff, I'm not that worried. The most he can do is do a more difficult quad - which is what he is doing now too. And while he hasn't landed a clean 4Lo in the SP yet, for a new element, he's doing fine IMO. (I personally think he'll keep his SP layout anyway for next season, but who knows with Yuzu.... )

Omg, the fact that he's not planning on repeating any o f the programs for Olympics is very exciting but at the same time i feel terribly anxious because i want to see a clean Hope and Legacy...

The rhythm and flow in his combos are just exquisite. Thanks for the GIF. His toe pick going down doesn't even look like a slam, it looks like a light tap.... and up he goes, easy as can be.

LGC is so far from what I usually enjoy in music, but his performance is electrifying. Somehow that was the program that everyone had doubts about (including me), and no one could quite point out what that X-factor should be until he just showed us XD

I'm rewatching Hope and Legacy a lot these days. I love the music to death. I think his opening (with that outstretched arm) wasn't emotionally quite there yet. It felt like his head and the rest of his body needed to go along with that arm a little more? (right this moment) From then on though, it builds up beautifully. And then of course there's the second half problems. I'm so excited to see in 4CC what he and Shae-Lynn came up with.
