No, lol. I am very optimistic too. True, he was 2 months out of competitions but it's not like he stopped skating or anything for that period. I doubt he would look so relaxed if Brian or him weren't sure of his condition.

another 2. :palmf: But yes, count me in the happy camp (if rather easily alarmed lol)

There's a belief that the number 2222 is actually very good! It's supposed to represent balance and faith that your hardwork is worthwhile and about to pay off :agree:

If you are pessimistic I am happy, I remember you placed him 6th at 2014 gpf .. so go on, Panick

:laugh2: you're ready to make sacrifices, I see :laugh2:

Count me in in the happy corner too. Yes, it's been 2 months without competition, but I still think the worst factor the last 2 WCs was his health, and last season that kind of 'have to be perfect pressure'. Now, he seems to be in great shape and has learned from last season. I'm optimistic he'll do really well! :cheer:

(Also, you know, if the ladies mess up, the men do great, so... ;) )

I feel this on a spiritual level.
But please nail your other quads and 3As too.

Please land (and rotate) things, Yuzu. :hopelessness:

So in the end, when you sum it all up, please skate two clean programs Yuzuru. It sounds kind of less when you spread them out that way :laugh2:

I can't be the only person who's super pumped? Watching him I feel really confident and relaxed even.

I guess it's Marin and I in the happy corner then

Lol doesn't he look a bit too happy than how he usually is in competition? He is laughing and giggling often on-ice and off-ice. I feel that even in AC, SC, NHK and GPF this season he was more serious and uptight (maybe a bit stressed and pressured? don't know, just my impression, he seems to be in a really good mood in gangneung). I don't even have to mention last season's competition.
But these past days he has been all fluffy and bubbly. It is quite... a sight.

And don't ever forget the very end 3lz:bow:

Nope! He can flop his 3Lz, I will be fine with that  (though I prefer not a fall lol).

Mustin't miss the habitual re-competition panic/hope session!
OK, I'll take this competition as trying out the Olympic arena - so winning isn't obligatory. But another third silver is just a bit too much. :)

yeah , don't forget you have 3lz at the very end Yuzu , not 4sal ! :roll5:

(Nor 4T. Definitely not 4Lz. None of those things.)

I did at one point wonder since he does 4T/4S for stamina training, wouldn't he get too used to that XP

I just realized, in less than a year, 365 days, men's SP is going to take place in the same arena:hopelessness:I am already getting emotional that idk how I am gonna handle myself when the time truly comes.

I'd say the opposite. He has to consciously do the 4S for the last jump, because of the different entry and it being a quad. While 3Lz would probably more of a reflex as a last jump than a 4S is for him. (Also, he has been doing 3Lz as his last jump since forever).

Well ,according to him he has skate canada 3 silver medals hang in the place where he can see them easily from bed .. He can hang 3x 4cc silver medals in the dining room maybe .. if smth

Honestly, he's healthy, as Li'Kitsy said which is a huge deal I think, considering how he's been before. The two months of training seem to have gone great and he's probably made up for all the lost time he's had. I do think we've never seen him this happy. He's relaxed, focused and they obviously have a well thought out plan with practices that he's following (I can't believe he's that restrained). I also think he's managing the pressure, and self-pressure, better. But Brian is relaxed and happy too which is a good signal so I think as a team they're in a good place which is good because it turns into a circle of positive feelings that feed each other.

Now of course, it doesn't have to translate into an awesome pair of performances but even with that pause from competition I think it'll go well.

And no! I protest. I hate pops! He can wobble. Clean+clean = blissed out Yuzuru and blissed out Brian and blissed out us. I pick that one

I know I often say that practices means nothing. But I thought he has the better practice/runthrough compared to other men? Or not? (But then again practice means nothing lol why am I doing this to myself :dbana:)

I hope so. :drama:
Meanwhile, for the bolded part, I am sure that is all that we all want
I really could not tell how a person will do to be honest, so maybe that's why when something unexpected happen, I am less surprised. Though when I said something jokingly it often come true. Like when I said today that Daleman will win SP and it (surprisingly) came true. :slink:

If he couldn't win 4CC this time, then forget about Olympic. Cause it's the same arena.
