What do you think? Will Spidey overtake Yuzu? I'm thinking that Yuzu will stay at third...

Yuzuru's TES is actually not far from Boyang's even with the error. 50.11 vs 51.26 so there was no chance he'd lose third, with the PCS.

But that's what's partially so guh. That's over 10 points from his best and just ....

Yes, he can definitely do great in the FS. But realistically he hasn't skated a clean FS yet, and the problem there is the 4S-3T combination. Which, yes. I hoped a clean, good short would push him guess it's time to hope a messy short will push him. But I am lowering my expectations, way less stressful that way and fingers crossed. And toes. Fight Yuzuru, you can do it!

Woke up for work and checked the scores in bed lol. It's not bad, better than my worst fear  at least he tacked the 3T onto it.

And I'm sooo glad the SP is done and over with, like ripping off a band-aid. It was horrible waiting for it to happen :palmf:

Too bad about the pop. The curse of 4CC continues :drama: On the bright side it could have been worse. Hopefully he doesn't start over training again :slink:

He seemed a bit nervous to me right before SP. Then he looked totally calmed down during the program. I have to rewatch the SP a couple of times though.

His presentation was out of this world, and I am very very happy about the clean 4Lo. I don't know what happenned with the 4S, I hope he will say something about that during the press conference.

He's not far from 1st place, I hope for the best for the FP:ghug:

I'm not worried. He is not far from first and this allows for him to show everyone how amazing H&L is! But that 4Lo was beautiful :)

Very much agree, the 4Lo was so beautiful! Wishing Yuzuru luck for the FS!

Something I found interesting is the difference from this performance compared to previous competitions, in the SP today he added some choreographic pauses while skating which further emphasizes his charm and expressions. :luv17:

(and he got the highest PCs too! stay positive, guys) ;)

I should not have live streamed Yuzu's performance! Whenever I watch live, whoever I'm rooting for loses! I'm thinking that I should not watch his FS live...

Ok, so not what we were hoping, but not a total disaster either. His 4L was really good this time, as was the 3A. IMO, he looked a bit stiff and off his music a bit today, but that is just me. Every other element was stellar. He looked very nice today, though, from a purely superficial stand point.

So, now he has to really fight and in the past he's been a really good fighter so there is still hope...

Same- this is the first time I decided to livestream and this happened...I guess I'll just wait for results next time

He's going to have to dig deep, find that calm inner competitor, and unleash him for the free. It's going to be a steep uphill climb for Sunday's free, but at least there's still a small crack open in the door.

Yes, he was also nervous during the warmup, very different from his practice mood. But I was more worried about 4Lo and we have got an almost perfect one! Could have been an almost perfect SP :palmf:

I've been way to anxious today about the competition, couldn't watch it live - that's just too much for me

But not a disaster at all, 4Lo looks nice - I was worried about it. Would be amazing if Yuzuru can go clean on Sunday, wishing him the best :agree:

Thing is though, and this is why I really wished PCS were more seriously scored (to me it seems the judges have too much to do during one performance, so if the elements are good other things go up a bit much) cause I think Chen will go clean due to his much easier transitions, and given his tech (and in my opinion slightly overscored PCS) might mean that it will be really difficult to come up on top? I don't know though...

The stress is real, I need to calm down :palmf:

lol i'm the opposite. And it always happened since i watched football back then. I leave for a while and my team lost
Protocol is out
4Lo GOE +2,29= 14,29, 3A GOE +3, clean 2S3T has 6,3 point

And his video is already muted :palmf:

Personally, I could see on his face he was not at 100% and that he was worried, I think the warmup mistakes put him off. The choreo was not as much of a show as in GPF and his facial expressions lacked confidence and were stiff. Amazing 4Lo and 3A as usual.
I think his nemesis is the 4S in combo and they should work on that until he is confident in himself. The team should work the psychological aspects more.
As for me, I don't think I will ever watch him again live. I never suffered for anybody in any sport as for him and I watch a lot of sport.
If he skates clean the FS he will win.

Did his spins really become slower? I noticed that he doesn't spin as fast and powerfully as before.
Also, I hope his back is okay as he changed the zuza, he doesn't curve his back like he used to anymore.
Not panicking, just need clarification.

Wow number 3 is not really something that I am used to seeing. But I am sure there is nothing to worry about. I have yet to see the videos though.
