I am pretty sure he himself said it in a presscon or post-match interview after 4CC, no? He said he knows that now he is capable of doing 5 quads but at the same time he wants to do 2 3As no matter what. So unless he brings in new type of quad it is not going to happen? Something like that?

Yes, pretty much. He also said it isn't realistic for now, but then with him, who knows if it's realistic by WC (probably not, but if he has to chase after the SP again, all bets are off :drama: ).

I think he also said who knows what quads he'll do next season, maybe he'll do 4A. A preemptive :scard7:

I agree. You know that 4CC really flipped a switch when he even mentioned the possibility of him doing 4F (Quad flip!!). It is literally the one jump he never even mentioned or talked about, but now he begin to speak about it. :slink:

The way he talked about the 4F could be interpreted as "someone might bring" the 4F as well....

Perhaps 3A-Lo-4S as a replacement for 4S-3T? He gets his second-half 3A and second-half 4S-combo, so win-win? except for my nerves, please can I also have some gin? Though at this point I would be more relaxed if he did that combo instead of 4S-3T

Though seriously if he can do 4S-Lo-4S or 2S-Lo-4S isn't 3A-Lo-4S almost easier? Given his confidence with the 3A and nice edge coming out of it? And we don't have to see him going directly into the 4S

This is not beneficial GOE-wise. 3A and 4S have max GOE of 3 pts while other triple jumps only have 2.1. It is better to do 3A and quads separately.
I don't see it happening for a planned layout. But it might happen in case of emergency. ;)

Who though? everyone else has bring it out (Nathan, Shoma). Only Boyang hasn't and I doubt Patrick will, considering he still struggles with 4S. Looking at the context it doesn't look like he spoke about someone else/his rivals?

Exactly! I genuinely have no idea where're we going right now, including the possible torture for next season my darling friend up there is subjecting me to. Helsinki is going to be such delightful torture :laugh: :palmf:
 
Help me.
My mobile is suspended somehow (they say i went over the credit limit bc of the data, but that's not true since i spent a lot more last month!) so at work i can't check twitter or talk through facebook (narcissa, girl, could you make some space on your inbox? :laugh: i think i'm going to die if there's another day without discussing the purple pants of sin :laugh:) which means: Hanyu withdrawals.
The 4S3T discussion makes me terribly anxious: on one hand i feel really bad because that's probably the only thing where my trust in Yuzu fails (i tried so hard and got so far, but in the end it didn't even matter...), and on the other i'm like i don't want him to change it because i love stubborn Yuzu...
