I'd also like to see Yuzuru compete in the WTT if only to see whether he has improved in his cheerleading. 
It may also help him get into the right mindset in the Olympic team event.

Do we have any fancams from Skate Canada where he first revealed his ex costume (I mean like the moment he took off his jacket? Did the fans go oohhh ahhh again?)? I always love to see/hear fan reactions when he unveils a new costume
I am not sure about the fans in the arena but I was in awe and couldn't take my eyes off of him the first time i saw it.

This little tidbit from Japanese FS magazine, Quadruple: When Mai Mihara was working on correcting her flutz, she specifically referenced Yuzuru's lutz as a good example of how it should be done

I thought Yuzuru had no flutz, but a lip (until recently) ?

Mai had a flutz. Yuzuru doesn't. She used Yuzuru's lutz as a good example for what she should do, not what she shouldn't do. XD

Only if he goes for a 5-quad layout such as 4Lz 4Lo 3F // 4S-3T 4T 3A-2T 3A-1Lo-3S 4S. Now if he goes for a 3A-1Lo-4S, though
, then he'll keep the 3Lz even if he adds a 4Lz. Or if he goes for just 4 quads a la layout above but without the 4S. 3Lz should be safe unless he needs an emergency 5th quad! At least before they cut a jumping pass out of the FS after the Olympics season.
No, they are not recorded, unfortunately. That't the problem, because once the videos were recorded it I'd find a way to upload them on the internet. I feel sorry because many nice and very insightful things were said about Yuzuru's programs and performances over the years...

i was just thinking about what if cha jun hwan gets on the podium at pyeongchang next year. with 2 quads in the free/1 in the short + home field advantage, he could do it. of course, a lot of people would have to falter but still. and then if yuzu and javi are also both on the podium, the true winner of the competition will be ..... Brian

If Cha skates lights out and improves his PCS by next year, hm... Shoma and Nathan, I guess? Also Patrick, but...I'm sorry to say...Patrick bombing wouldn't be as big of a surprise.
No one else has enough tech to be required to be placed above Cha if the judges wanted to go with it Just how many skaters would have to bomb badly for that to happen?

Also I doubt that he would only have 1+2 in the olympics, maybe 2+3 more like it. Though I would think it is a reaaaaally longshot for him to medal. That would be a great podium though, would be my other preferences beside uncles' podium

2+3 is a huge jump unless he's already been training these layouts though. That's the extent of Yuzu's increase last season, though the increase in short was mid-season and harder to flip. It'd take the performance of his life and some to pull it off. Though yeah, I agree, splatfest is not unlikely given the number of quads (arguably 3A's too for those who aren't Yuzuru Hanyu...) .... .................. ...... I still want uncle podium most.
Well, Shoma had 1+2 last season and this season he has 2+4.
It is not that much of a stretch for him to do 2+3 depending on how his 4T is (and how he does with his current layout) but he would at least upgrade to 1+3, from what I see. If not for CoC, we probably would have seen 2+3 from Yuzuru much sooner. I know it would take the skate of his life but that is basically what Adelina Sotnikova did, so I would not write off anyone tbh. Honestly, looking at how the judges score trend is, it would need both Nathan and Shoma to bomb for us to have an uncle podium, so I am keeping all my toes and fingers crossed

Is the uncle saying that the heat of excitement of people watching yuzu literally, actually fogged up everyone's photographs?
Yuzu's power so strong even professional photographers cannot take eyes off him! 
...so I am keeping all my toes and fingers crossed
I cross all my fingers and toes every time I think of Yuzuru these days, and I think of him pretty often even when I should be working lol. I allocate some fingers for Javi and Patrick too. I wish they all don't need it but given the judging trend...
