For videos that might get copyrighted, I know many channels (skating or non-skating) like to post a very short preview on YouTube and provide a link to the actual video which is on google drive in the description so perhaps that could be the new method now.

I had a feeling that he was in Japan, but that does not really matter as long as it works for him. For all we know he wanted to spent some time with his family.

Although I have to say I have great respect for his ability to move between time zones and not get confused.. I am totally lost today just because summer time started and it is only an hour difference (I am hopeless ).

Why do people think he left Toronto on Friday? Maybe he left much earlier than that. He will go straight to Japan after Helsinki, and he will be there until May probably (depending on when he gets new programs done), and then back to Japan for shows so maybe he and Mama didn't want to take all of their luggage to Helsinki so they dropped it off first.

Or maybe it is for his ANA sponsorship. And Media knows when he lands and can do their official news things, lol. Publicity is such a big deal these days....

Yes, Lufthansa is a partner of ANA.
It would take extra hours to fly to Germany and then to Helsinki, which means he would get less hours to rest

Finnair is arriving in 20-25 minutes to Helsinki.

What is ANA ? And how is it connected with Hanyu? Sorry if it was explained before...

ANA all nippon air.... it is an airline and they sponsor Yuzuru and have since... 2012? I think they started around the same time as his move to Toronto... a huge help.

I’m a silent reader of this thread for two years and finally decide to join you. I’m a figure skating fan for more than 10 years, discovered Yuzu when he was still a junior, was impressed by this young boy and since then he has never ceased to amaze me. I had the chance to see him live at GPF in Marseille and it was such a great experience!
