Welcome, Himawari. It is always nice to have new members join us and this is the perfect time. And never worry about your english, it looks good! This is a great way to practice too!!!

Again, I had a Yuzu dream. It was about his exhibition where he was performing a folklore dance  He wore light brown shirt and pants with some red patterns on the front of his shirt and his partner wore a long red dress. Audience were so surprised but pleased with the performance :agree:. I don't know how to stop these dreams that happen almost every night.

ANA all nippon air.... it is an airline and they sponsor Yuzuru and have since... 2012? I think they started around the same time as his move to Toronto... a huge help.

Thank you!

Hello everybody ! Nice to meet you ;)

In advance, sorry for my poor English.

Welcome. I also joined recently. I have even worse english but I really like this thread as even when there are misunderstandings caused by lack of english skills (and I know it can be bothersome), everyone here seems to be very friendly and patient.

Ah, to have fallen into another fandom that does some flight stalking, I mean, sleuthing too. It makes me feel right at home in a fandom.

Yuzuru:

Warmest congratulations on your graduation! :hap10:

I am thrilled and it means so much to me to be able to send you my blessings on your Graduation Day!

Wish you BEST OF LUCK for your future and all your competitions!:cheer: :ghug:

I said before I won't hype Yuzu up outside this thread, to avoid jinx him, so I'm sorry I have to quote you here

Interesting, the American men and Canadian men do seem to have enough of a pattern going on here. Any other nationality of Worlds winners prior to Olympics to see if they fit into any pattern?

We don't actually have a precedent for if a Japanese man wins Worlds prior to Olympics, do we? Would be interesting to see if either Yuzuru or Shoma were to take the gold at Worlds, their pattern would fit the American men's... or Plushenko's.

Or if Javi wins for a third time. How many 3-time Worlds Champions have won the OGM? Aside from Yagudin.

Yuzu has his own pattern, he was 2nd in GPF Sochi, the test event for Olympic
and he repeat it this year, when he place 2nd at 4CC, the same test event for Olympic
Next year will be interesting tho..

Wich pattern will come on top? the Japanese or the American one?

and don't forget Javi with his biggest goal to give the hat-trick Olympic gold medal title
for his beloved coach, Brorser

ANA became his sponsor in July 2013. Must have been a great help for him since he has to go back and forth between Canada and Japan. And they've also contributed to his Ninja-ness a lot, I’m sure. Wish him safe and comfortable trip to Helsinki!

Hello everybody ! Nice to meet you ;)
I’m a silent reader of this thread for two years and finally decide to join you. I’m a figure skating fan for more than 10 years, discovered Yuzu when he was still a junior, was impressed by this young boy and since then he has never ceased to amaze me. I had the chance to see him live at GPF in Marseille and it was such a great experience!
My favorite program of him : Seimei
Thanks for all the news, translations, amount of pictures and to make me laugh with the “purple pants of sin” secret conversation
In advance, sorry for my poor English.

Welcome! I'm a long time lurker, who started to active participate too

I heard yuzu is the only skater with bodyguards
guess its necessary for him to have them with overwhelming amount of group of fans....

crowds of fans there waiting as always lol
how do they even manage to know exactly when he's arriving and wait it out
would probably do the same if i had time and money

If he flew Finnair from Tokyo, I imagine many on the plane were also going to watch World's, so arrived at thecsame time, lol.

If he flew 1st or business class, well, you always look better when you can relax on the plane instead of shoved in the back in cattle...errr, economy class:biggrin:
