Honestly, I just think he missed it because he's not doing the program at 100%. Best to put a positive thought about the 4S+3T in his own head and miss the 3A, because 3A is still his most consistent jump

Very good practice.
He used to go all out in his morning practice on the day of the programs, and then he was exhausted by the time of the actual competition. Best to give it just 50% for the practice and keep 100% for the program.

Plus, this was good practice for going first. He got his quads just with the 6 mins warmup. Hopefully they'll be there later today as well. And his 3A. Crossing all my fingers.

Why the unnecessary gloom and doom ? Nervousness doesn't have to go hand in hand with negativity.

3A is his most consistent jump.

In fact, Yuzu 3A is probably the most consistent jumps out of all the jumps of all the men currently in this competition.

I was going to watch, but then it's my day off, and my mother surprised booked us a massage in a spa... We've never done that, ever. She had completely forgotten it was Worlds until yesterday.

So I'll be getting a massage while the men skate. Probably better for my cardio-vascular health in the long run

No, I've heard the announcers say they're not allowed on the speaker, because it disturbs skaters.

Using flash is both incredible rude and stupid. It's dangerous for the skaters if they are distracted and having their vision temporarily affected by flash.

Also as a photographer it annoys me because it's unnecessary if you know what you are doing. Want pictures? Fine but turn your flash off. Can't get photos without flash? Too bad. Don't take photos then.

It most definitely could cause him to pop or fall. I am kinda mad that people ignored the announcement especially when it using flash because it can distract the skaters is common sense.

I think it was a good practice. He did very nice quad sal combos, 4Los (except the ugly fall). He didn't give his hundred percent, but I guess it is good, he stays less tired for the afternoon. It was nice to see Tracy again, she smiled a lot. I took some pictures with Yuzu, Tracy, Brian and Javi, I may upload it later today (I did it with my camera, not with a phone). The atmosphere is really good here btw, I have good feelings for today's sp.

I won't be live streaming the SP. The last time I did that was 4CC and I jinxed him.

And that wasn't the worst of it. I am a spinal cord injured quadriplegic and since I stayed up all night in one position watching the men's short on my laptop, I reopened a pressure wound on my butt that had been healed for a year and a half. As a result, my wife and I had to cancel a two week trip to the Caribbean with eight of our friends, including a seven day cruise. It's going to take months, maybe longer, for the wound to heal, if ever.

Oh well, the crazy, stupid things we dedicated Yuzu fans do to cheer on our boy... Wishing our boy the best of luck for two clean programs! Please don't overthink it, Yuzu – go into your jumps as you did with PW in Sochi, knowing that you've already landed them.

I just saw a fancam. When he ran towards the 3A, it's not normal flash. There were 2 huge leds (very very huge I mean) turned on and it's distracting. I think it was the leds by some television.
I don't know if it affected him or not. But right after he popped the 3A. They turned off the leds. :whack: I don't know which television was they, but hopefully they're not allowed to turn on such huge leds during competitions.
