It's such that I have a huge urge to march up to every judge who didn't give the 3a and 4lo a +3 and make them explain to me exactly which bullet points he missed. What more can he do?

:console:let me give you a virtual hug, narcissa. I quit watching FS for nearly entire summer after going to Boston so I totally get your feel right now. Gladly this time he still has one skate to fight it back. Take some rest; we all will be fine.

Thank you <3

Actually, whatever. I'm glad he's determined not to give up the 4S-3T. One day you will get it back, Yuzu! And it will be better than ever.

Yes, the 3a and 4loop were magnificent. Regarding the 3a... do you think the judges are tired of that entry because he has used it for years? I wonder if it looks too easy for him now.... and he paid for it...

Yeah, right, Javi's is way more difficult. :(

Nah, it's because he was first, botched the 4S combo and he's in Europe. Judges were saving something for later, probs.

Then they should go back to school to get re-educated.

No, he didn't get +3 because he wasn't totally clean and judges want to save it for later skaters. Let's be real, this is Europe. And 6/9 judges are from Europe.

Isnt javi's almost the exact same one now?? Or similar... cannot remember, but he makes the entry look harder... yuzu is just too good at it.

I know, I have watched skating since 1984... but sometimes I like to think it is fair....naive, I know. :(

if he were from anywhere else his fed would be behind him 100%, and if he'd from the Great US of A he'd have broken the WR 20 times by now. Well, I'm pretty angry, but much as he loves it fs isn't everything. I may be a tad melodramatic with sleep deprivation but I'm sure he'll live well even if this sport isn't worthy of him.

Yup, and the other three are Uzbekistan, Israel, and China.
Tech specialist was, of course, American.

If training thing to perfection is hurting you score wise, then this sport should be dead. And ISU is doing everything they can to make it happen IMO

I just had the most beautiful dream.
They had revised his score and he was sitting in fourth, only fractions behind third place.
I saw him looking at the standings, there was no one but us, so he started saying in English, with tears in his eyes "do you see this? You see this?" He looked terribly upset and sad. I told him "yes, yes I see it. It doesn't mean you're not the best though..." He broke down and went on ranting how he was disappointed with himself, angry and ashamed to have let down his fans. I couldn't contain myself further and I hugged him, saying "you didn't disappoint anyone. We're not upset because of your placement, no one is blaming you, Yuzu. We just hate to see you like this, we don't want to see you this sad." He looked at me as if he couldn't believe what I was saying "you're not disappointed about my skate?" I told him we weren't, and hugged him tighter. He then said "thank you, thank you, I promise I will fight back and you will all see me with a smile"
I wish this was a thing that happened 😢

Ok, I watched the SP few times and I loved it every single time :luv17:. Everything was perfect the 4L, 3A, the spins and step sequence.. This is my favorite performance of LGC and it even tops GPF for me. The mistake was costly but I am not sad because he fought for it and showed again why he is the best, too bad it didn't work.

The only thing that I can't get over is the deduction, of all the stupid things that they could penalize him for.. :gaah:

When do they start the 30s countdown for preparation? I mean the timekeeper could have just started the timer a tad too early and this is what happened :(

I'm a yuzu fan. He's the best, and deserves much more than what he receives. Others get a lot of points without being half good. And I know it's not nice to speak bad of anyone, but I can't with injustice. And I cannot with the scores they give Shoma and Javi. By the way, I'm Spanish, and he doesn't deserve what he gets. He is not the best nor much less. They give him points, as if he skated like Yagudin and agggg

It wasn't good for virtue / Moir to train with Davis / White and it's not good for Yuzu to train with Fernandez. Just my opinion. Sorry, I needed to say it.

He was great!!! Regardless of the combo. Seeing his disappointment really brought my mood down, naturally, but I have mostly recovered. Reading through the thread definitely helped.

He will skate a great free. I'm sure of it.

But I could also use some hugs... today was intense.

I'm sure that if he would jump his solo jump in SP witout steps someday, they would remember about steps requirement and give him deduction :slink:
I swear I will never again start following any judging sport...

I won't lollll. I will follow Yuzuru, when he retires I'm out. God help me if if I click on ISU stream links or watch competitions in a way that will give anyone advertisement money.

I hope his programs next year are of the a hundred @)#*$)@#s can't tell me nothing, burn the entire field type of deal.

Or the judges would suddenly recognize that two-footed skating does not actually count as transistions... :hb:who knows? They are trying their best to shut me out of this sport and I shall be glad to follow through once Yuzu retires.
