Charlie White is 1m75. And if Yuzuru were skating booth, he would be quite taller than Charlie white. Here in the video they look about the same. Does that mean Yuzuru is 1m75 now? :biggrin:

I have woken up at 6 am and all the sadness of what happened yesterday has hitted me hard. I am going to a skating rink later to practice a little and to shake off these feelings. And to remind myself who inspired me to resume skating lessons after 25 years of no-skating life.

He will be first, it'll go according to the draw. Unfortunately there aren't anymore open practices for men (or maybe fortunately because waking up at 4:30 AM and coming back at 11 PM doesn't feel great).

It was a shock last night with the score live because from my angle I didn't see the weight transfer before the double toe so I thought he'd still get a combo, I think he and others were probably surprised too because everyone was still eating it up during the actual skate. People loved it, and it wasn't until I got back to the hotel and rewatched it that it reminded me that I enjoyed it a lot.

I did notice the countdown on the Jumbotron though... that was a sad mistake and I'm not entirely sure how it could've been prevented if there isn't a second clock behind the judges.

With the lack of sleep and the way the night was going for the other men it was easy to get into a mood after the SP. I feel a bit better now with some sleep and food in me, so anyone who is watching that feels bummed out or is attending live, remember to sleep and take care of yourselves. We have the free tomorrow, I'm sure it'll be exciting.

Well I'm 172 and Yuzuru is taller than me. I also saw him together with Maxim Kovtun and considering the difference in height Yuzuru should be around 175, may be 176, not sure.

Our boy has grown up! :love: It's true! Some men still grow taller until they're 25! :yahoo: He is taller and more handsome now. Who could believe when he was a kid I used to joke that "Yuzuru has sex appeal of a slide of bread" :laugh2:

A woman behind me was commenting that he always looked like a "girl" to her, but yesterday after seeing him in the SP and wearing the PPOS, he looked like a "real man":laugh::laugh::laugh:

Oh yes, I was surprised by how handsome he is in person. I mean not cute, pretty, etc. but handsome as a man.

Thanks for this confirmation.
Because I often see in some photos he's either the same height or taller than Javier, so 175-176cm will be quite right.

Ah I'm still so excited post-SP I can't concentrate at work right now :(

LOL, I love bread and I love Yuzuru, sound right to me :rofl:



I rewatched Yuzu's SP and it's great, better than GPF IMO, the mistake wasn't disturbing, so I think I will be coming back to it :clap:

4lo and 3A were perfection, I have no idea how can you not give +3 for that...

Hope that Yuzu will have a good practises today! :cheer:
 
I just. LOVE. the interview with Charlie White. It gives me life and helps me healing from yesterday. Charlie said exactly what I would have wanted to say to Yuzu. And Yuzu replied with such a beautiful, heartbreaking smile and joke about the Salchows. You can tell Yuzu loves kind people, and that kind people love him.
I think I love him even more now that before. Didn't think it would be possible.
 
I think the 4th group closed practices will start at 13:16 and 17:40 today and 9:10 tomorrow Finnish time, so if they are going in order, Yuzu would be first to skate in his group. Anyone with more up-do-date info, please correct me if necessary.
Wish there were practices at the MR, but after spending from 7:30 to 21:00 at the rink yesterday, it would be too exhausting to go for the entire day like that.

Maybe it is just my impression, but I think he was trying hard to look happy but the eyes about to cry... it brokes my heart. He said he had confidence for FS. He will do his best, no doubt! Skating and other gods, please just don't interfere!
 
he has that slim chance of a win, but he must be foot perfect with 4 quads and his best quality, that fs would go 220-225

The joke about Salchow was the best! I am glad he is taking it like this. And Charlie said exactly the right words, I feel so grateful to him!
