Hi again guys.. sorry I missed all the fun. Wanted to post last night but it's either my internet or GS being super slow and I was already so sleepy so.

Praying for today!! I know the situation isn't really ideal now. I watched the short and it was fabulous had I not known better I wouldn't have realized there was mistake. It's just a small flub, though rather costly. There is still hope and I believe he can do well. Also we can't forget that he's young, though mature as he is, and he'll feel such frustration, regret, and underestimate himself.. and he's a perfectionist too. He continuously aims higher in pretty much every element, admirable. So I don't doubt he'll bounce back. He has it in him. It's just once again as I said before, waiting for everything to align properly and the best result will come.

Sometimes it's hard when everyone put him so high on pedestal and when he made a mistake all hell breaks loose. It happens. It may happen on unfortunate time too.. but it's ok. It's hard for him, I don't think it's ever easy, but he has great support system and he wouldn't be here if he can't handle/manage it so I'm proud of him.

Whoops sorry for rambling. Just wanna wish him the best!! Have the best performance he can give now and have him feel satisfied and proud of himself (also let's hope he'll be rewarded nicely). The end placement doesn't matter so much to me, even though it's also important. Maybe I'll try livestreaming later, see how it works. Hope you guys who are there will have a blast! :cheer: :2thumbs:

I have been too focused on all competitions to hang out here during Worlds. This event is such a roller coaster! I am completely and utterly hooked and *will* be in Milano at Assago forum next year, no matter which skaters decide to grace the fans with their presence (though assuming Worlds 2018 is important for 2019 Worlds spots in Japan, I think the JSF would not accept anything less than Hanyu going to Milano).

It's lovely chatting and hanging out with people during the breaks, and a big shout out to my roomie, I couldn't have asked for a better one. :-)

I am of the firm belief it will be a Hanyu Shoma Boyang 1-2-3 with the medals, and that's what I'm sticking with.

Javi has a huge lead and I don't see him off the podium short of a meltdown but I believe in Yuzuru. Excited to see what kind of Hope & Legacy he will bring to the ice later today. Regardless of how everyone feels about him, there's no denying no one can keep their eyes off him when he's skating!

I went out to buy chocolate today, then gathered all my edible-to-my-taste-buds baking chocolate as well, so I'm ready for this. Or so I tell myself.

Whatever happens, as long as Yuzu is happy, I will be as well~ Go Yuzu~~ :cheer2:

Going to sleep now, but wishing Yuzu the best of luck!!!! No matter what happens my support for him will never waver!

Hello everyone! Another newcomer here :o: Also rather new to actively following a figure skater lol I was going to post a rant yesterday, following up on the SP frustration - frustration at the scores for such an awesome performance, even with that little, but sadly costly mistake - but in the end, pictures from yesterday posted here made me feel better :)

Actually, mostly posting now, when most people seem to be asleep, to say ISU are broadcasting the men's free skate practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slQR6YA7eRk :cheer:

Congrats! So you won gold today :)

My situation was also less than ideal. If i was able to make a comeback like that, and i'm not as talented and smart as he is, i am sure he will do it too. If he doesn't, it won't be because he didn't try or because he didn't do his best. No matter the result, we should all have that in mind: I am sure he will put all his heart and soul in today's Hope&Legacy, so i think that it will be a very special skate :)

Thank you very much! It's been a very long time since I was last active on a forum, but everyone seems so nice here that I'm sure I will have fun! :thank:

And just one thing about the SP... I like to think that after seeing the video of his performance, Yuzu himself realized how good it really was, despite the scoring, and that's why he appeared all back to normal yesterday and confident again and hopefully will blow our minds today! :cheer: And maybe the judges' minds, too :P (the again, I think he blows our minds anyway, anytime he skates... mine at least he does ^_^; )

I had such a stressful week and I just finished doing a uni paper that I'm really tired, but Yuzuru competes in less than six hours so I'll definitely gather myself to watch it. Good luck Yuzuru!!

I've prepared myself for the possibilty of Hanyu finishing off the podium. If he doesn't land that blasted combo he's not going to get on the podium without some help from the other guys.
No way. He will do his 1000 percent and more, and others will probably make mistakes too (Patrick is not consistent, Boyang's PCS will hold him down, Shoma is not consistent either+too much pressure for him).
Ganbatte Yuzuru!

His practice run-through from the stream just now: https://youtu.be/slQR6YA7eRk

4Lo, 4S (marked), 3F (free leg low), 4S3T, 2T (or 1T), skipped jump, 4T-1/2Lo-3S (iffy landing on 4T and 3S), 3A

oh and he did the Biellman as well
