Mika Nakashima's Snow Flower/ Yuki No Hana, the instrumental piano/violin version - it is a soft subtle song with beautiful melody.

Maybe not as a competitive program but as an ex/gala number. Apparently there is a korean version to the song (I am not sure how well-known the korean version is in korea, though). But this season, when commentators announcing his gala as "Notte Stellata/the swan" I got giddy. I don't know, can you imagine the commentators announcing : "Yuzuru hanyu, skating to snow flower", just the thought of it makes me smile because he is like a snow flower. :love::luv17:
 
Hi guys, I'm new to this thread and Golden Skate, but I have always been lurking, finally made an account today. I was wondering if any one of you guys have different commentaries for Yuzu's Free Skate at worlds 2017?
 
So I have just calculated if judges didn't hold down GOE in Yuzuru's elements at WC by this http://fisk8-score-calc.herokuapp.com

His TES might have hit 130 had they didn't save the scores for later skaters. ;)

So people saying he could have hit 230 had he skated last isn't too wrong.

The Korean version of this song is also extremely popular in Korea, sung by park hyo shin (as far as I know, his songs are well loved by south koreans)

About song suggestion for Yuzuru, I always wish he will skate to Last Carnival (Acoustic Cafe) by Norihiro Tsuru. I want to see him do step sequence when the playful piano plays. But I think it will more fitting as an EX.

For FS/SP, I want him to skate to Breath of Life by FATM. It has a warhosey feeling to it and very emotional, which fits him I think.

Or if he want to do a rock song again, he can do No Good from Vinyl. It must be so fun :luv17:

I think the song is almost too popular in Korea. There's a high chance you'll hear someone sing it when you step into a karaoke in Korea. It's in my personal Korean karaoke repertoire, too, so it would be funny for me to see Yuzu skate to it. :laugh:

He said in interviewes that he had had to reduce the number of courses because he couldn't keep up with his training, so I don't find this really surprising ? I imagine he'll graduate next year ?
