someone let me know when they try to put his present self into one of his teenage costumes. Because I see issues coming up and I wouldn't want to miss....... the opportunity to help. I know someone with a sewing kit! :agree2:I am sure that with the buffing up of his rear muscles courtesy of Ajinomoto that all his old pants will now fit very tightly indeed.![]()
I'm sorry but that thing is really disturbing

I can't believe my eyes, the judges really trying hard to held him down.. If those jumps weren't perfect, I don't know anymore.. What kind of jump is perfect and deserve to get GOE +3 in their eyes?
no matter what judges were thinking.I knew nothing about Phiten, thought it's just a necklace![]()
The question is why? Just because he skated first and was fifth after the SP or there are is something more to it? Still, he broke his recordno matter what judges were thinking.
That's interesting, I knew only about okibari but this one's for medical purposes too.I didn't as well until I accidentally stumbled upon it on ebay, at first I was like, why does this look so familiar, then I quickly realised it was because Yuzu wears it, so I went and checked it to make sure, and it was. So I quickly used all my saved up money on it lol, now I'm broke BWAHAHAHAHA.

Is there a rule what kind of jumps deserve +3? I mean about the pre-rotation, in , out, the landing.. Transition..?I'm sorry but that thing is really disturbing![]()
He said that its hair style was nice and I think it’s the only way to comment nicely about it.
He's so sweet.I think it's been sort of the nature of FS judging to not go all out with the first skater even if they're great because who knows what else might come along??? But GOEs are supposed to be much more of an objective measure compared to PCS so I can't agree that those in particular should be held up just because someone skated first, or had a bad first jump or had a bad SP. If the bullet points are there, the GOEs should more or less match.
Edit: I think it was the BBC or Eurosport commentators that said that Yuzu gave the judges no reason not to throw the marks at him. Sure. some threw +2 instead of +3 (and some well known outliers gave 1s), but Yuzu had such a free skate that made it absolutely impossible to hold him down too much, and given his higher BV, it was hard for him not to break his own record, unless his PCS were like those at 4CC or something.

Yes there are rules. But don't bother learning them, because they aren't actually applied. It's a little game we call "judging".And they were easily giving +3 for the skater that skated after him..?Is there a rule what kind of jumps deserve +3? I mean about the pre-rotation, in , out, the landing.. Transition..?

Hmm, I'll have to search about that, but I think u mean ikibari instead?

+1 GOE for 2 bullets, +2 GOE for 4 bullets, and 3+ GOE for 6 bullets:
1) unexpected / creative / difficult entry
2) clear recognizable (difficult for jump preceded by steps/movements of the Short Program)
steps/free skating movements immediately preceding element
3) varied position in the air / delay in rotation
4) good height and distance
5) good extension on landing / creative exit
6) good flow from entry to exit including jump combinations / sequences
7) effortless throughout
8) element matched to the musical structure

My friend accidentally heard of an ISU judge talking to an ice-mom, the talk was technically that, PCS (and even GOE) is subjective and it shows how high you place in the judges' views.
Sad but frankly, judges did not write Javi off even he messed quite the whole season, but they already wrote Yuzuru (and Patrick too) off just a bit at WC.
It was clearly looking at the GOE and PCS to see whom the judges believe to be their top (or who they or their bosses want to put on top).
Judges do not give scores based on true quality. This is the truth. They scores based on reputation and of whom they believe and want to be on top.
This time, at WC it was NOT Yuzuru whom they want. Simple as that. But he forced them otherwise. The more they do not want him, the more they HAVE to give it to him. And frankly he has had enough reputation now, they can score him quite low and score other highers, but they will not hold him down to the 2nd tier level. He is still considered 1st tier.
We shall see how they will react next season.![]()
It was translated as okibari, an acupuncture needle.
If he raise his BV he will take quite a time to stablize his new programs thoughNext season if he is more or less consistent a bit more than this year they dare not hold down reigning Olympic, World and GPF champion.

Hmm weird, when I search it on Google, it keeps coming up as ikibari instead of okibari, are you sure you're correct?
