I might not be able to watch him at WTT.

I have a major surgery scheduled during that time. And even after I woke up, I might be paralyzed for one-two days. I guess I will be back when the is finished a while. So please pray for him instead of me.

I hope he will try out 4lz. And I hope we will have 2 new programs next season.

I will do both Meoima: pray for your rapid recovery and complete healing and for a successful WTT outing for Yuzuru. It's Good Friday in my country right now so also including in my prayers all those who are suffering or in pain or in seemingly hopeless situations. Re the latter, thinking back to Yuzuru's 5th place SP at Worlds where many despaired seeing him on the podium. I myself was hopeful of a comeback not only because he is a fighter but also because of Brian's information that Yuzuru has never been in better shape at Worlds. So long as he is in fine physical condition, the odds are in favor of great skates from him. If only we can wrap him in cotton wool as Simon says.

Hopes for WTT:
- Clean LGC ofc! This program being clean will double the "he owns the place" aura it already has!
- Some experimentation, most probably 4Lz. It'd be really exciting if he plays a little with the actual layout But it's not long after WC so maybe not. At the very least we'll get a revenge 4-1-4, as he said so!
- Something very Japanese in style for the team exhibition! I loooooove the folding-fan thing they did last time. Maybe something with the clothing too this time, please?:

Dream for WTT:
- Return of the White Pants of Holiness! He really looks like a young prince in that outfit.

As for WTT, when will we start getting new photos? When does he usually arrive to that kind of competitions? One day before?

WTT's official practice will start on Wednesday, April 19

But he has an event this Sunday, Yuzu and shizuka's figure skating monument unveiling, which will be livestreamed via YouTube.

My wishes for WTT:
- clean LGC or at least no falls I will accept one of his "ooops" saved landings that are wrong but still look kinda cool
- happy cheerleader yuzu
- any jump experiments either left to the end of the gala or pulled off successfully. Like the 5 quad H&L layout he wanted to do at worlds but didn't have energy for? It'd be very fun if he had the energy for it and did it with no pops or falls
- clean gala skate with decent camera work
- yuzu playing around a lot with his team mates ^^ lots of smiles and nose wrinkles ^^

Not just commentator logic. Remember that e-mail I got from one of the family members who were "stalking" us via the TV? "Why are you holding a French flag??!!" And I mailed back that was just the start, there'd be plenty more flags to follow (mostly Japanese, of course). Non-fans just don't really understand why someone would support a sports(wo)man from another country, so automatically assume flag matches country. But since there was really no point for me to bring a Dutch flag...

Hahaha, I read that, and automatically thought, "That's really not all that impressive". Stupid tiny Dutch mindset. And then I remembered where you live, and crossing a country is basically crossing most of the continent, wow.

I can easily ignore anyone making fun of Yuzuru Hanyu, or people saying he's not that great, overscored, yada yada, whatever, you just live in your own little crazy insane world (and I'm happy to think of them as complete and utter fools behind their backs.)
But anyone making fun of Anna P.... that's just completely unforgiveable. Period.

Aaaaaaah! It's my large always-lands-on-its-bum Pooh bear! It's become famous!
I had a small version of the same bear at the SP, and because we were so close down to the ice, and in the center of the long side... and because the bear was so light, it ended up very near Yuzu, too (for a microsecond I was actually afraid I was gonna hit him with him, oops). I don't know if that one's been captured on any photos, though.

I'm mostly in lurk-mode, too. Life is just busy with work (I'm in the process of switching companies... but not jobs... complicated!), studying (I'm doing a course outside of work), and we're doing renovations, which smart people would do during holidays, but I was too busy running around Paris, Germany and Helsinki.

So this whole WTT thing has kind of snuck up on me. I don't have any wishes for it other than for Yuzu to not hurt himself, to be sensible. I'm sorry, but to me it's "only" WTT, I'm not taking it too seriously, and I know he always always always take competitions seriously, as he should, but... . I want us all to have a summer when we're not worrying about him. So, no overdoing things, not taking chances at getting injured. :noshake:

You can't ask us to send our good vibes just to him after that Half of my cheering will be for you, so everything goes well and half for him it IS just WTT after all, my only wish for him is to have a SP that he feels satisfied with and for him to land that 4S3T again i don't care about placements, he is the King already
