It's not even competition time and GS decided to sort of die a sluggish death this morning. But it's back to normal-ish speed now.
Just as I got pumped up to take on this challenge I could not keep up with this thread for the whole Easteer holiday >< Well Challenge would be to do so by the time Olympics come^^ Well I will just use my procrastination time during "test month" after the semester ends xD
But.... but.... so many missed photos... >< xD
Well I'll see if I'll survive^^
) so I know what you mean. And as it has not yet been mentioned, I will say it. You can really tell in the second clip that Ajinomoto also buffed up his pectorals. Credit where credit is due.![]()

I 'love' how ppl always say fs is a "feminine" sport....puh-lease, just ask any of the athletes of "manlier" sports to do what skaters are doing: dance on freaking thin pieces of sharp blades on wet cold slippery ice at top speed for around 4 minutes and reaching exercise levels that rival elite athletes for 800m track and field. Heck, skaters prolly lactate as much as long-distance runners after a long run. And rotating /beautifully/ four times in the air /multiple/ times while hving their feet bear up to 4 times of body weight each time they jump and around 8-14 times their body weight each time they land it. (Don't forget the falls too!) Plus, these are landed one-legged, backwards (except axel) and on a thin slice of metal. The wear and tear of skaters is tremendous. And using various laws of physics to control their spins and transitions, while still connecting emotionally to their programme and their audience and interpreting it well. And all these ideally should all occur together in that 4mins approx.
People who can't do it but complain about how it's feminine...they should just shut their mouth.
Now I fully share jinabee's opinion that
. Now I can't separate his skating from his costumes anymore, for me it's a signature thing of his, just like hydroblading. ^ ^The flowy fabics and the sparkles and the colours and his tendancy to look like a watercolour painting helps make the performances seem like a special moment.
Yep, noticed that. I just hope they're still fans. The person that has been there for ages is Li'KitsuThis past weeks have been very, very busy (500 new pages in just three weeks?) so I know what you mean.
I usually have two tabs open, one for reading the past posts and one for the latest page(s), this is how I can keep up with both. It's really interesting to read all the opinions (whether it's good or bad...), articles, interviews, translations from the past. One sad thing is that posters come and ago, most users from the past are not active anymore.

Tbh I hate the use of 'feminine' or 'gay' as an insult anyway because it just contradicts all the women's rights and LGBT rights that we've worked for
Eh, trolls... Don't mind them! Yuzu wouldn't be Yuzu without his blings and pastel colours and laces ... he's not feminine, he's special and we adore him like this.

For me he's more androgynous than feminine, but even if he was feminine, I don't see why that should be a problem ?
People who think than men should always be "manly" don't deserve our time imho. Same for people who think female skaters should all be ice princesses.
Maybe even worse that ladies Russian Nats considering they have only 2 spots.the next Japan Nats for ladies event will be bloodbath for sure![]()
I want Satoko and Marin to get them badly, but Mai and Wakaba could also get the second spot... lot of heartbreaks to come next December.
Wakaba's 3A amazing! Easy!![]()

Satoko and Mai are the skaters with the best record though, I guess GP results next season will be quite importantLovely to see Yuzuru skating so beautifully though it stresses me out a bit when he's SO great in practice, can't help being worried he's not conserving his energy, I mean it's probably irrational stress though
