I did read those but uuuuuuuuuuuuugh those two give me anxiety especially the 4A ( Tho I am sure Yuzu would not debut it here? Feeling )

I wanted to introduce myself here as I've FINALLY gotten around to creating a profile on GS ^-^
This is the thread on which I spend 70% of my GS forum time (heh!)... always failing to catch up with the pace!
I'm a long time skating fan (obvs) since skating as a kid - and yeah I have to admit that Yuzuru is something special. After Helsinki I simply had to sign up somewhere where there was a greater density of Hanyu appreciation going down!! I have so few friends in RL who love FS the way I do.

On another note, if ever there is a need for translation of French or German-Swiss commentary, I'd be glad to help out!

Another another note: I second the love I read for Yuzu's LGC hairstyle.

I wasn't that nervous because I didn't think it was going to be close. Boy was I wrong

I wasn't nervous at all and I'm a Shoma fan so I was cheering him all the way and genuinely enjoying it. I think when I saw his results it was donning on me how if this were just last year he'd be a world champ now. And then I saw how close it was to Yuzu. I was definitely nervous about Javi though until it was pretty clear he couldn't win with it.

FToona , Turquoiseblue, SuzyQ, Specs, Yesway, msteach,Poice are still here, Mikaboo too (btw mikaboo hasn't posted for a while I missed her ) Kalina and some others moved to other platforms , some of them post less but when I get "likes" I see they are still around. Becki the creator of this thread has posted several times last year. Most of them are less active from time to time I think.

Yes, I'm still a fan, even went to Worlds in Helsinki this year. A few years ago I moved almost completely to another board (Yuzuru Hanyu Forum, now unfortunately on hiatus as the hosting platform closed, but hopefully it's going to reopen again soon!) and gradually stopped posting here. I come here on GS every now and then, using it mostly as a place to keep up with non-Japanese skaters' news (together with twitter etc.).

This forum and in particular Yuzuru's fanfest thread is, I'm sure, a great place for all of you to share info and chat and I'm glad you're able to do that and thrive -- it's not quite the place for me, though, which is why I stopped posting here. I won't go into any details as it's not very interesting but yeah, I'm still around and supporting Yuzuru as enthusiastically as I was doing 5-6 years ago :agree:

WTT pays $10.000 for exhibition skaters not attending the competition. He's there for the $$$, I think. He was there last WTT too, I actually expect him to be there. FaOI only start by May 26th so I doubt it, he will likely return to Canada to learn his programs after that.
