Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

This thread since yesterday: TL;DR... but I gather Yuzuru didn't nail two of his jumps, but did the rest superbly. I just hope he feels the support of his fans and the public and his family, who love him no matter if he had a good day or a bad one, and will draw strength, peace and contentment from that, now and always. Fingers crossed that he gets over his dejection by tomorrow! :2thumbs: Our support never wavers, come what may.

I was pretty depressed after seeing the results of the short program but I'm feeling more encouraged after reading this thread, so thank you everyone Yuzu is only human, I hope he can put today behind him and think of tomorrow's free skate as a fresh start. He is still the best!

It's normal to be sad after knowing the score but don't let it to make you down or depressed.. Stay positive and give a good vibe for yuzuru.. I hope he can feel our strong feeling for him .. Many people support him.. He can do better tomorrow :agree2:

See Yuzu purple and white are WRONG colors , not lucky so go for blue/green/black next year.
Somehow I am sure he will not keep this SP,I expect something more Rocky for SP and classical LP

I look forward to what Yuzu will have for his programs next season

I hope Yuzu does something like Japanese traditional/folk for one of his programs (Seimei worked beautifully)

Something subtle like Hope and Legacy is fine too (I love this FS program so much)

Yuzu always has pretty costumes so he can wear a rainbow for all I care (LOL)

He'll make the rainbow work somehow...

I really hope you are right and he will let go of LGC.
I trust Yuzu's taste and I am sure he will deliver us wonderful programs again. I am all excitement!

oh well,burgundy red costume has been my dream for already several years but he never listens to me. I tell him Yuzu, wear red, Yuzu, stop pressuring yourself when it doesn't make sense, Yuzu how about combo in first part? eeeeeh... I gave up ,

LOL I actually like the purple and he can actually pull it off! That's such an amazing feat in itself

I actually don't mind the lettuce so much (are we talking about the Requiem costume?) ... Yuzu with his long limbs and slender grace actually pulls off most costumes. Also his very nice complexion and nice skin can pull off many colors.

that's one hell of an AWESOME move too!

oh and those forward/backwards crossrolls in Seimei that alia mentioned!

as i said, i love ALL yuzu's skating moves. i even love his twizzles. no moves of his that I don't love. he can roll around on the ice it'd still be adorable
