I'm cool. I don't think he'll pull another disaster performance. At least with the FS he knows that he can do it perfectly, so I don't expect him to go full-blown headcase on us. He doesn't have to be perfect today. I just want him to have a performance that doesn't turn him into a self-doubting regretful lump again.
I just want to see him smile, that's not too much to ask, is it?

i know! so frustrating! that was the most AWFUL camera work i ever seen in big competitions like worlds!!!

i just want my precious prince to be happy and enjoy his skate!
when he's relaxed and feeling good, the feelings bleed into his performance and we audience can feel it too
his love for skating is what i like to see. i want to see him happy. i want to see that beautiful smile

I think FS will be better even if only because he can improvise if something doesn't work. In the SP, as soon as he popped the 4L, he knew he was pretty screwed. But yes, a true smile at the end is what we all most wish for!

Yeah don't blame him. Imagine after worlds, having all that adrenaline and giving it all, coming back home to all these media engagements away from your training base, and then have to put yourself BACK into the competitive mindset for a fake competition that you're forced to go to, must be exhausting and annoying. And ofc he can't pull out bc everyone bought tickets to see him, he's used in ALL the advertisements, it's a HUGE loss if he doesn't go. And if you mess up the whole world blows up. Lol

he can pull another yolo hope & legacy (like he did in 4cc) and i'll still be happy
his perfect H&L at worlds was a precious moment. i'll be overjoyed if he skates H&L cleanly again, but even if he improvises, as long as he enjoys himself i'm happy

Guys we have to break the vicious cycle. He said he feels happy as long as we're happy.
No matter what happens, wr should feel happy because we got another chance to watch his programs without the pressure of world's.

Please let him have a performance at the end of which he can smile, I hope he can shake his nervousness off
I'm very very nervous that's for sure, not for the performance but for his mental state. A part of me just want WTT to be over already so he can have a well deserved rest.

I certainly don't expect him to go clean here, although it would be nice, for him. His pride won't want to end with a poor performance for the year. He should give himself some slack. We've seen quite a few errors from people, which is to be expected at t his time of year. He did his job a few weeks ago for team Japan. This is just fluff... but try telling some of these guys that.
