I suppose a 5-revolution axel is a downgraded quint axel

it would be 3.75 ≤ x ≤ 4.5 if downgraded & underrotated jumps are in a limbo of "not a quad/quint, but not a triple/quad," basically just "you f***** up"

otherwise if downgraded quint = quad, then technically a downgraded axel of 5 revolutions would be a quad axel, so it's 3.75 ≤ x < 5.0 wow, what a range! Also, that's assuming that an underrotated quad (3.5 ≤ x < 3.75) is not a quad.

My headache intensifies everytime I read the word quint, especially here.

If you add prerotation it could even be less than 3.75 revolutions at least in the air.

Yeah it would, but that's why I had it as less than 4.75 instead of equal to it. It should be read as "a quad is less than 4.75 revolutions but greater than or equal to 3.75 revolutions." ...I think ROFL.
