I woke up with the beautiful music of H&L in my ears and Yuzu's dazzling performance at Worlds in my eyes, feeling so peaceful and happy. Then I went to my favourite place called Yuzuru Hanyu Fan Fest and learnt that my favourite male skater of all time was criticised by my favourite female Japanese skater of all time
What is the definition of emotional in your dictionary, Akiko?

I still like you and I'm not going to judge you by this article but I will keep an eye out for you, just in case
H&L is my favourite programme of all time. It's so emotional that it makes me cry every time I watch it :sad21: It's soft, calm, tender, spiritual, sensitive, warm, strong, loving, pure... I love everything about this masterpiece and everything he does in H&L
I had been trying to convince my parents what a genius Yuzu was since the season 2008-2009. For my mum, it was easy to recognise his lyrical skating, artistry and musicality since she had always been a fan of figure skating in ladies and men, and she soon started rooting for him.
My dad who believed beauty could come only from female skaters never got Yuzu and thought he was just a fragile kid who collapsed on the ice after his performance all the time. He had always been like that, tending to skip most men and watch ladies, until this season. It wasn't Nice R&J. It wasn't his Olympic gold medal. It wasn't Seimei. It was H&L that finally made him realised how phenomenal Yuzu is both artistically and technically. He says Yuzu is just extraordinary, beyond comparison, in another league, and he feels sorry for the rest of men because Yuzu's elegant, beautiful and emotional skating makes them look like they are only executing elements on the ice. Now he tends to skip most ladies and watch Yuzu.
It was a very long way for me, but I'm satisfied now. Mission accomplished. Thank you, Yuzu for showing us H&L. It was a pure gift
