Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

Caught the livestream and was so proud to see Yuzuru (again) being honored and taking another piece of hardware, the JOC Cup, home. Never gets old.

Bonus was also seeing Satoko and Mao and Marin and the entire WTT winning team except for Francis, who was absent, being honored. I thought Satoko looked very pretty with her bangs and hair down. Mao looked lovely and at peace; and it was a nice touch to have Shoma, who took up the sport because of Mao, be a presenter for her.

The other recipient of the JOC Cup is speed skater Nao Kodaira who won the ladies 500 meter event at the ISU World Speed Skating Championships last February in South Korea.

I don't think I can do it alone...

I find out soon if I got the tickets I applied for. Hopefully I will be going to the men's events and maybe the gala. If I don't ge the tickets through lottery I'll be trying when general sales open but I'm reallly hoping I'll get them through lottery haha

He usually gets choreo in early May and if there are shows in japan he comes back after 3 w or so, I think he will be back to Canada soon.
