Was too nervous to go online to check results this morning, my family had to do that for me. Waiting patiently for our TV to air at least some of it. I have no words, this is a dream. Congrats to all the medalists and biggest of all to Yuzuru. I cannot believe he was skating the way he was while still not 100% healthy- wait, no, I actually do believe that, but the things he suffers for the sport, it's painful to just imagine. He deserves all accolades he gets, and more. Cannot wait to see his FS.
If I may have one last wish, please take a long rest now, Yuzuru, if you do continue. Your ankles will thank you for that. At least 6 months off-ice please. I'd survive seeing a GP without him knowing it's for his ligaments and bones to heal properly this time... Love his skating always, but I want to see him pain-free again.

First time posting here just to say I'm so happy he made it and no doubt he's the best figure skater of all times ❤️

I was watching the broadcast of the medal ceremony live and Oda and Matsuoka san were there and Oda was crying his eyes out for joy (of course) and an hour later Shoma and Yuzu appeared in Japan's TV studio in the Olympic area and had a live interview.
Shoma looked soooo sleepy. It was wonderful to see them all together again and happy.
Yuzu said that the 'Olympic Monster' was his helper this time. Unlike Sochi, where he was taken down by it. The nervousness he felt in the warmup helped him concentrate, when he was feeling too relaxed because he had decided not to jump the loop and thus lowered his BV slightly.
Yuzu also said he had to throw away many things to make it to this Olympics, and that made me doubly glad that it's worked out like this.
I hope a video is posted soon.

Just want to congratulate Yuzuru on his magnificent skating and well-deserved gold!
He went through so much but it only made him stronger.

Legend and inspiration!

Two-time Olympic Champion!

That says it all.

First time poster here. I discovered Yuzuru due to Yuri on Ice. I watched his Worlds 2012 fs and I was awed at his emotional, magnificent rendition of Romeo and Juliet. I was a complete noob at the sport, but I immediately saw that Yuzuru Hanyu is a very special young man. Tbh, I couldn’t watch other figure skaters because I feel that they are way inferior to Hanyu. So, for posterity’s sake. I want to congatulate Yuzuru Hanyu for becoming a two time Olympic Gold Winner. It felt like my heart was coming out of my chest when I watched his fs today. I clapped and cheered for every jump he was able to land cleanly. I cried when he won.

Watching this olympics made me appreciate Shoma. His fight, his guts, his never give up attitude while artistically skating made me see what his fans like about him. He’s small but I think that inside he’s like a king of the jungle. Too fierce, too hungry. He is such a intimidating competitor.

Boyang Jin. I like him. He’s very fun to watch what with his fun persona. But his sp in this Olympic made me realized that Boyang Jin can win gold. I’m looking forward to see his future programs.

Nathan Chen. Without the pressure, he skated a very powerful fs. He showcased his athletic ability to jump. Let’s see if he can win a major tournament in the near future.

A couple of us fans were exiting the Olympic Park after the medal ceremony and saw Nobu crying with Shuzo Matsuoka next to him on TV. We wanted to take a photo of his tears but they kept shooing us away haha. Oh well, it was a tiring and happy day!

Tell us all about it when you have time! You're so lucky to be there in person.

https://twitter.com/corszk1220/status/964858487455928320 Near future plans, Yuzu says he's overdone it with his ankle a bit, so he can't say anything, but wants to enjoy the moment. Shoma says that he wants to go back to Japan and train for worlds.

Yuzu looks at them and answers or doesn't.
I don't drink alchohol.
How do you keep up your mental state when injured.
Well, I'm still injured. Lol. But I feel I have done what I could
Sexiness just leaks out of your pores...why?
I'm not leaking. I'm not leaking. I'm not. I don't have any. I don't have any interest in sexiness. I'm just performing.
There are other questions but you can just look at them ( what about getting married?)
https://youtu.be/a8ikMn8WVPI The whole thing.

What do you do with all those Pooh-sans?
They are donated locally, but I do want to keep a few. But in feeling, I keep them all. There's just so many! It's a view that only I get to see after a performance, so I'm full of thankfulness.

I rarely post in this thread, but I was really, really, really rooting for Hanyu to win - so glad he did!

I'm just soooo happy to see him skate again and to see him so happy. Been following him since I saw the 2012 world LP, that passion and determination, and raw skating style which I felt today especially in the Chseq . Woke up at 5 am to watch this and it was so worth it. He is really inspirational coming back from an injury and to skate like that!!! Can't imagine the pressure he had and the feeling he had when he was off-ice for 3 months. Watching Yuzuru comeback I feel like I can overcome anything as long as I never give up lol. Well deserved 2nd Olympic gold!!

I watched the replay of the SP and LP with my sister (she's knows nothing about figure skating and doesn't like to watch the men, was totally not impressed watching the men SP team event, she prefers the ladies and like Kim Yuna), but when I showed her Yuzuru's SP she was totally gushing over him. She thought he was flying across the ice, super fast and so smooth. And all the jumps so effortless, how on earth can he do that. She was so impressed and became a fan right away! She didn't believe there was anybody better (I did mention when Patrick Chan was skating the LP that Patrick has really good skating skills, but she was like nono, not as smooth nope, Hanyu's the best, faster

Getting off my lurking to say that Yuzu making history after what looks like a career ending injury is the most magnificent and emotional thing I've witnessed. What an exceptional human being, global treasure, role model for everyone.

Haven't posted here for a while but congratulations to Yuzu for achieving his wishes at these Olympics! It was a pleasure to see Chopin and Seimei performed on the Pyeongchang rink. To be honest, this set of performances (Chopin + Seimei) were the very first I saw from him in the 2015 GPF so I have a soft spot for them haha. His skating is truly beautiful, and I'm so glad he could share his artistic and athletic brilliance with the entire world.

LOL at the question "sexiness just leaks out of your pores... why?" and his answer is really cute lol
Thanks for the translations!
