Yeah. He was like a nimble wood spirit in W17.
Wow, so cool! Was not expecting that when it flipped.
I actually have quite a few thoughts on watching him win Worlds last season and the Olympics this season, I'll probably write a bit more about it later after I get home (or on the flight back). While I was over the moon that Yuzuru won, when I was asked about it in an interview after the free I think I said it felt bittersweet. That's probably not quite the right word for what I mean. I just know in Helsinki I was bursting with joy and excitement afterward, maybe because he had such a flawless skate in Helsinki. The feeling this time was still joy, but it was tempered with a bit of sadness knowing what he had to put up with to get to that point and ultimately persevere.

Quick story, if I may:
My husband doesn't really appreciate figure skating but since it's the Olympics (and I'm living for it) I've been talking about it non stop. I obviously talked about Yuzuru A LOT. So in the night of the Men's final my husband actually tried to watch it with me but ended up sleeping after the second group.
In the morning, I was the first to wake up because I had to rewatch his programs as soon as possible. lol
So my husband wakes up and without even moving and in a very sleepy voice he asks the most important question "Did Yuzuru win??"

I've never been so proud! lol
Then I said "I won't give you spoilers, you're gonna have to watch the competition!" and to my surprise he said ok.
But then he watched the news and it showed Yuzuru's interview and everything.
The point is, no one can resist Yuzuru! [emoji23]
Love his skating so much!!! I'm dying to see what will he do next! For me he could keep skating Seimei and Chopin forever, I won't complain! [emoji23]

He used the whole 40 minutes and executed 14 axel jumps including 3A, and also landed 4T (you don't have to do that lol). He looked having fun all the time. (love the photo)

Does anyone else think that Hope and Legacy is better than Seimei?
Seimei for me...Though H&L was great, I just didn't feel it like the SEIMEI. IMO the POTO is better [again it was just me]
