Well, I said "argue". I've only seen 3.0 in person twice (ACI and Olympics) so they are perfectly fine with me and I am probably partial towards those for obvious reasons, but people have noted their preferences toward 1.0 and 2.0. That's all I'm saying.

1.0 and its variations had a similar layout to 3.0 in the element distribution (solo quad/3A, spin, spin, solo quad/3Ax, combox, stsq, spin) but I believe there was a bit more choreography before and between spins in the first half back then. 2.0, on the other hand, was a bit different in element distribution. Personally, 2.0 remains my favorite version, maybe because GPF 2015 SP was one of the first programs of Yuzuru I ever saw.

Yep, I've just rewatched his SP from GPF '14:
In Chopin 1.0 there was a longer step sequence after the solo jump followed by a sit spin and a flying camel with doughnut.
In 3.0 he changed the order of the two spins and the sit spin became visibly longer in duration, therefore he had to cut away a few steps after the solo jump.

Can't really decide which layout was better. I really liked the steps after the solo jump in 1.0, but the sit spin in 3.0 was breathtaking, too. I think, the 4T+rippon-3T makes the difference for me. (It's so rare to see rippon jumps from Yuzu, so this combo was extra special. I can only remember the 3A+rp-2T and a 4Lz+rp-3T he has landed in practice. Was there another one?)

#Sidenote: GPF 2015 was the first SP, I've seen from Yuzu, too... and I loved it :biggrin: Never thought, that he could top that, but... aye. He could. :rolleye:

And just curious, to our Japanese friends here, since a city named withn the same characters is it related to the feudal lords clan?
Or its just coincidence?

It is in Saitama prefecture, Kanto region. I checked Japanese wiki but it doesn't say about the feudal clan as far as I see. Generally speaking, the city is not for sightseeing but it would be interesting you can see letters of "Hanyu" everywhere :laugh:
