Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

Glad to hear that he is back in Canada. He doesn't have a supporting training environment in Japan anymore which is expected as he was away for a long time. And, this is a time that he needs extra care as he will push himself to be at his %100 top form at NHK.

Color me relieved that he's back in Toronto, I also thought he may have gone straight to Japan and trained without the Cricket team until NHK and the Final.

So, "every" heard from Yuzuru in August that he was going to do 4Lz in this season, but they didn't release that information soon. Kind of surprising! (to think of other TV stations which jumps on every news of Yuzuru as soon as possible)

but maybe a condition of getting inside TCC is to keep a secret of the layout when requested, or else maybe they won't get back in the next year.

It's a deal media make with the people in question (celebrities, authors, athletes). There are subjects that are blacklisted until a certain pre-arranged moment, upon which they are released to write or talk about it. In exchange they get some perks; usually access to the person in question, in form of an additional interview or sometimes, depending on the subject, they can even get an exclusive, if they agreed to sit on something big. It's pretty standard procedure in media.

I agree, I feel NTV (which airs "every") gets exclusive appearances from Yuzuru more than other TV stations such as this interview, visiting Mansai, 24hours TV, but at the same time, they don't have any broadcasting right of the competitions and I find it interesting

Yes, you often have 'friendly' stations/journalists, it's important. They agree not to ask certain questions, or you know that they will have a positive spin on something if you're breaking news or handing an issue that is potentially problematic, or will simply try their best which is also important and in return, you offer them these bonuses. There's a lot of dealing behind the scenes when it comes to media

I love this
Guess I'm closest to the 4S? With shades of 4T & 4A?

I love this as well (and the way Yuzu gave personalities to his jumps, poor quad Loop didn’t get a mention because it misbehaved)!

I would say I’m a combination of 4S and 4T, so I’m a 4S4T 😂.

Did anyone else see Yuzu playing with those gold streamers looking like he was trying to make himself a gold medal which he then hung around his neck? This kid does love his gold.

Sometimes I really wonder that Yuzu's tissue box is a Pooh and not a Haribo Gold Bear... :scratch2:
