What worries me, is if he is not properly fit, but he competes anyway :-/
He's a bit more sensible these days, but still - I think he probably wants to reach the GP final, and win it. Partly because IMO that's the kind of competitor he is, but I'm also betting he will want to go to PyeongChang not only as the reigning Olympic and World champion, but if possible - also as the reigning GP champion, national champion and holder of all 3 world records ie. Aim for total domination! But no NHK = no GP final...
I also think he hates to disappoint his fans. Getting a ticket to NHK (or any major competition in Japan!) is like finding one of Willy Wonka's Golden Tickets in a chocolate bar. And for many fans, if Yuzu has to withdraw... well of course they prefer he does what's best for his health... but still, it's like the Chocolate Factory burned down... and he knows that.
Well. With any luck he's fine anyway, and nothing serious at all...
