Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

Those Polaroids seem full of personality! It looks like he had fun reenacting his old programs.

I also loved how he wrote the shortened/truncated names of his programs! Reminds me of the time during his parade where he recognized the band was playing Romeo and Juliet and he called it “Romi-Jiyuri”. I like to think each of his programs have a personality of their own (just like his jumps!). I also have a weakness for #3 Sing Sing Sing!

I love the way he writes the roman alphabet! It's really cute :) The captions are hilarious
 
So I've just watched a interview of Javi on a spanish radio, and he brought good news! He said that Yuzu is already recovered, and that both of them are training, that right now he is OK. Ahhh finally!:yahoo:

EDIT: Max Ambesi on twitter confirms this version and adds that Yuzuhas been recovered for a few weeks, but “silently”
 
Thanks for the news yoloaxel!

First a NYT article and now some reassuring news, I hope he’s practicing well. After the struggle last night to try and men’s Olympic practice ticket this is some nice consolation news!

I was actually wondering if Yuzuru was already back on ice, but chose not to say anything given the intense media scrutiny. I'm not surprised at his decision to stay silent. If I were him, I'd ghost until the Olympics.

He was back on ice by December 16 according to Kobayashi's words after JPN nationals, though not jumping yet. Hopefully given it's been almost 3 weeks since then he's doing some jumping again nowadays.

The title was wonderful but after reading I started to have this uncomfortable feeling, this worry about Yuzuru, whether he is going to be 100% healthy in OG. I don't know maybe this bad feeling comes from watching US nationals and being under the Nathan Hype for almost 4 hours :biggrin: Anyways, I'm praying for the return of the King and hoping for the best :points:

He has two shows, Makuhari in May and Kobe in June (here we can assume he is going to skate in FaOI). There is also live viewing for the show of Makuhari at 20 movie theaters. We can apply for the shows and live viewing by purchasing 1000 yen of P&G products and sending its receipt. The winners will receive the tickets in about the beginning of May.

I hope P&G will permit the participants to report about the event on SNS for unlucky fans...at least...:cry::laugh:

Wait what? A live talk show with living view at 20 movie theaters? I'm...perplexed....but happy that his fans will get a chance to see more of him this season :hap85: We've been so deprived of him lately :(

I think this is quite often done in Japan, for shows or concerts where seating is limited and demand is high. This way people across the Japan can live view the event if they could not get tickets or couldn't travel to where the event is held at.

I'm more confused(?) about the talk show part and how that'll play out :laugh:

Yes, the fans will see him only... talk :laugh: Looking at the details, only 150 people are invited for each show, and 200 people for each movie theater. (4300 fans in total)

I'm guessing there will be "Q and A" time for Yuzuru and the fans, I hope they will ask him about his new programs or the music he wants to skate in future :) Now I have to buy shampoo or laundry items...:dance2:
