Apparently he will be going back to Japan on Monday (read it somewhere on twitter; can't remember exactly where). I'm expecting a little bit more interviews/celebrations once he is in Japan.

I've just rewatched this again and noticed that he said he started feeling "kuyashii (regretful)" again because there were things he was not able to do for this competition such as 4Lz and 4Lo, he said he could do more difficult layout of the program (if he was healthy).

He will never change

Lol I didn't expect the euphoria to last too long. I'm glad he'll never change though. Maybe in the back of his mind he knows he'll have a period where he may not be able to skate for a while, so I hope he's able to live it up for now.

For next season, I think he may choose to skip the grand prix this time (although I wonder if he wants to try and re-win the final again). If he's well I expect him to want to go to Worlds in Japan next year.
