Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

IMHO I am happy to see Yuzu doing ice shows. He doesn't need to jump his CiONTU performances went just fine.
I believe he is doing the ice shows because, he wants to go to place to place and thank the people who supported him.
He misses the people in FaOI who are, let's admit he has a lot of fun with during practices and program proper.
Yuzu loves to skate so its but natural for him to take every oppurtunity to do so considering his health of course.
Brian and his doctors would have blocked him he if it won't be helpful. I am sure he waited for some test results before saying yes to the rest of the tour. Thus leading to the confirmation yesterday.
To all those who will be seeing him on any of these shows have fun whether live or on TV, its going to be heavenly.

And this year 3 CiOUNTU, and Legends, Future? How many FaOI?

FaOI has 15 shows. There was Together On Ice in 2014 but I don't think he does this year. I wonder if he participates in Dream On Ice but personally I am feeling he won't do it anymore.

Thank you

So 20 shows in total... half what he did back in 2014, if he finish by june he has time to get ready for the new season.

May I ask why do you think he won´t do DoI?

To me DOI is like for young Japanese skaters to show their new programs while inviting only two or three guest skaters from the world, yes Yuzuru is still young but he didn't skate there last year even though he was healthy. And I have been to DOI once in 2013 and was so surprised that the venue was so small and the ticket battle will be furious if he attends this year. Mao also didn't participate in DOI in latter of her career.

But I don't know, DOI is on the next weekend after FaOI ended, Yuzuru might not care if three more shows are added  I'm hoping that he can go back to TCC soon after FaOI though.

Carnival on Ice is kind of the 'Gala' of Japan Open though. And Yuzuru never attended Japan Open.

Last year Alina Z and Marin Honda was on Caoi so there are cases where big names do star in Caoi

Yuzuru is usually getting ready for ACI (or any senior B) around that time and Carnival on Ice is basically part of Japan Open, to which Yuzuru has never gone to. And since it doesn't give him a chance to debut his SP nor does it give World Ranking points I don't think he would attend this year...

OH, got it.

Guys the ticket lottery until how many draws does it run?

My friend won a lottery of FaOI Shizuoka, she applied for it soon after Yuzuru's participation was announced and I think that was what many Yuzuru's fans did  I don't know how many lottery has been running but it is confusing indeed.

Tomorrow will be the first CiONTU show broadcast. Everyone ready? I'm looking forward to seeing the various interviews with Shae, Jeff etc.

Apparently Yuzu and his mom are spotted in this photo from Karen C...
This is like playing Where’s Waldo lol

Is there more evidence of him coming back to Toronto? I ask because the skater we see easily could be Junhwan (he's back from SK), or Shingo (the other male skater from Japan working with Brian and Tracy--he's definitely been in town as he went to CSoI). Some people were also hoping it might be Boyang, since he's in TO. However, Boyang did tell the fan who spotted him he was not planning to go to the CC, so less likely. However, it's possible he would not say so because privacy is important at the CC as they don't want fans harassing the skaters.

So it's not impossible that it's Yuzuru, but it easily could be someone else.
