After sleeping on it overnight...

I love the manga/fairytale prince look (and I really REALLY want to see Javi and Misha's versions)

I have decided I really REALLY love the SF-costumeish opening one, sleeves and all (TVandfilm SF nerd here). The fact that they seem to have 'accidentally' misjudged the length so we gets abs doesn't hurt my shallow side one little bit.

So two out of three isn't bad...

And I am mentally deleting the wings on the middle one as hard as every I can, and when I can it's okay; the shaded blue, the spangles, the cummerband... I like all of those.

And how can I hate anything when he looks healthy, happy AND IS JUMPING SO BEAUTIFULLY??

His spin at the end was so beautiful and 3T was really blended into the choreography :love: 3A was perfect :thumbsup: I'm looking forward to seeing group number, too :yay:

Agree. --What would disappoint me more than almost anything, would be if Yuzu came out with a plain shirt. Then I'd be convinced he was done with skating and ready to do something else. :biggrin: These crazy costumes tell me he's all-in.

And we have to admit, he sure knows how to make sure ALL the attention is on him by whatever means possible.....
 
I actually appreciate the costume much more when it is static so I can focus on just the front and try as much as I can to ignore the shoulder part. He looks so devoted and so serene I could almost buy the look, almost.

In motion though it became impossible to not see how the back looks like, and the design just doesn't work for me. It looks like he is skating with a shawl and that's just glaringly bizarre.

Thank you! the fan's translation makes me feel a bit more comfortable. "I'm not even ready to make proper preps for show" sounds more concerning than "I haven't been able to do proper training due to shows and other events"

Am I understanding correctly, though, that the two better ones you are referring to are for sure strictly FaOI costumes but for that third one that's left... there's a potential we'll see it for the whole season lol

His beautiful jumps and spins made the whole costume looked better for me... but that effect is strictly only apply to the few seconds he does those elements though haha
 
I am beyond convinced that it's because of the title of the song that WINGS were added to his costume. Maybe the main colour of the top is blue to represent earth aka WORLD? Very literal interpretation of the song...:laugh:

3A is his go to jump to get back into things mentally and physically. Not surprised he chose it over others. Very excited to hear he had chosen music already!

I'm hoping not - though I don't know the song, it's in Japanese, isn't it? As I understand it, he doesn't skate to songs in Japanese outside Japan...

Everyone loves the way he says he is taking it easy with the jumps... and then does that extra-hard entry because, well, Yuzu.

There's a twitter gif with a laidback spin at the end that I've fallen in love with...

What if using a Japanese song with lyrics is what he meant by doing what he want?:devil:
What if he keeps the costume and skate to something else? :dev2:

It's a triple axel. Oda always had such lovely knee bend.

I'm itching to yank Yuzu's free leg into a more flattering position in the layback spin :laugh: He should replace the biellman with a layback in his programs, with a little work he could probably make them gorgeous.
