Don't get me wrong, I love LGC, but after a recycled Olympic season, I'm really hoping for new programs with new music! Including an EX. Preferably low on warhorse factor.

I'm very glad that Yuzuru looked having fun with athletes in other sports And I hope Nozomi (a badminton player who had been wishing to see Yuzuru and ask many questions) was able to invite him to 1994 union :thumbsup:

You mean Nozomi Okuhara the 2016 OG bronze medalist? She's good. Congrats to Japan women for winning this years Uber Cup! Great achievement beating favs China.
Badminton is a more popular sport in my country so I follow it more than FS.

To be fair, it was in response to a question about the new rules so could have been focusing on how they would affect the lp... I understood from an earlier statement that he had picked music for both programs (oh dear, we are nitpicking so pickily, he should just put us out of our misery)

But if we are getting a repeat of LGC, I want even purpler pants, Yuzu. Just sayin'......

What other colours would you guys like to see for LGC 2.0? what about other colours for his new costumes generally?

Agree, I want new programs, and I don´t like Prince music.

I saw a tweet running around after the event today and he apparently say that the music is new and he is playing with the layout in the LP.

I really like his voice when he speaks normally. I don't know how to explain it but in his polite talks to press his voice is a bit soft to my ears but when he talks normally to other people his voice is so bright and clear. And, in the case of the latter he always talks in a manner that says "hey I know I'm the cool guy here "

Why are you suddenly all afraid he is going to get back Let's Go Crazy? That program had lots of flaws in timing, he never could work it out, why come back to that one now? It wasn't really that special for him IMHO. The music wasn't his personal choice, it had a great tempo to build his stamina- that was a plus. But other than that and two appealing costumes (I always prefer white!)... why would he be coming back to it? To pay the debts- the ones his perfectionist self creates every time? Why don't you think he let go that one already after Olympics?

I think he left this quad in past , so he will not repeat any old program from now on.He has never came back to his old programs once Sochi quad was over. I am not even thinking about LGC.

As long as there's no info on whether there will be any shows after FaOI I guess we shall see new programs (and probably will learn new music) as early as at a Senior B event? Or am I wrong? I don't mind waiting btw.

Probably because he said he want to keep it during Olympic session but finally being persuaded to use Chopin instead? And since we're having no clue at this time we just tend to throw possibilities around.

Anyway, I will be happy with any options he does. I really like his music selection in long programs; with various parts of songs being cut and re-fitted together but still very pleasing to hear. Being an audiophile must be really helpful for that purpose.

And he is not going to repeat programs, we'll get all new ones this time around. Cannot wait.

I don't think it will be Jpop or Jrock if he does these it will be ex. I expect one program to be Jazz because he has been mentioning he wants to skate to it for a while, As for second I expect soundtrack or classical (less known). As for media day, I think it will be a bit later like 2016/17 season, late August or first week of september.

I will say it again, the boy needs a personal dresser. Olympic and World Champion, idol of the figure skating world, exemplary example of everything good and admirable about a person...

And he simply cannot choose clothes that fit and then simply put them on.

I too think he will do new programs after repeating two last year! And I’m honestly so excited to see what he has in store for us! Honestly, his last 4 programs were masterpieces.

Keep in mind that he said that his foot still hurt on 3 of the jumps so he still has to re-train those jumps and train the 4 axel and adapt to the new scoring system. I can see him re-doing LGC to focus on his tech again. Plus, he had that kuyashi over never skating it clean.
