My thought was 'these top-tier athletes do not need the enhancement of a unenthusiastic dancing boy' --I know this is some kind of meme, but I've missed the boat so it doesn't amuse me. ;)

I have to confess that Yuzu of FaOI or other shows is not my favourite type of Yuzu :palmf: I miss my favourite Yuzu during summer even if he participates in tons of shows. But, the Yuzu from Continues with wings was one of my super favourite ones, especially in the finale with that fantastic white shirt, coming at the end and doing those simple but elegant cross rolls. A kind of Yuzu that is super happy and delighted just for the sake of himself; showing his true feelings without considering the presence of the camera. Oh, I love him so much when he is this free, I really want him to continue flying to the horizons that no one has ever seen.

He really was, and the way the different programs were still wonderful to watch with no jumps is something to think about...

With the skating skill and performance that he has today you can't help but wishing for him to recycle some of those old programs :biggrin:

I guess Olympic Channel is trying to do a crossover to more people, and be viral... It was a video that I didn´t need, but I can see the effort they are doing

Yes he said the Peyonchang medal was heavier and that he sort of tried them both on at home. And Nobu said....maaan I wish I could say I did that! Yuzu comforted him saying that Nobu had the gift of making people laugh, but Nobu said that didn't help at ALL. --Just going from memory of what they said. :biggrin: They were joking a LOT, and seemed to be having a good time.

Thank you for many updates! Finale looks so good in Nagano, I got a little emotional watching Yuzuru and Plushenko part.

Hiroes & Future has its own theme and Continues~with Wings also does (and off topic but Mao's "Thanks tour", too), I recently feel the shows like these are wonderful, they have messages in the shows themselves.
 
Yuzuru says he had not been practicing even 2F but he tried 3F in H&L because he thought 3Lo did not fit into the program and in its expression as well, it was not beautiful one but good that he could show it to the audience (he said "my favorite 3F" :)). He also says he has ice shows on every weekend so it is not avoidable that his highs and lows are shown, he is sorry for making the fans worry as a performer and a skater, but he wants to do his best every day to perform well. He had only started to work on that variety of jumps so I have no regrets seeing a minor mistake from a skater who's still in a rehabilitation process. He's too hard on himself. Getting back into that competitive spirit again I guess.:)

Now I've watched this part and it was very funny, if he was "uncle", what about us? :laugh:

In Niigata, he popped 4S twice, but he tried 4T and landed :biggrin:
 
So, Yuzuru said in the interview after the first show of CiONTU that he had been thinking of doing something like CiONTU since before the Olympics regardless of the result :)
