When asked on instagram live about skaters he respects Conrad Orzel answered “I respect Yuzu, a lot. I was always a huge fan of him”
On the programs he watch on youtube
“I watch a lot of Yuzuru Hanyu, his long program at Helsinki is probably one of my favorite”
What do you think about Yuzuru?
“I think he’s the king”

How many skaters said that their a fan of Yuzu already?
 
Ugh, I just want to thank you all for being so positive and civilised here. I won't go into detail and would prefer that if anyone else knows what I'm talking about, they don't either, but.... ugh, some people, honestly.

Now, to get back on topic, as soon as it actually gets cool enough here that I can wear any of my clothes that would match them, I want to get Origin-inspired nails so badly. Hurry up, weather!

Just laugh it off; people are entitled to their own opinion but that does not mean all opinions are carrying the same weight.

He's a terrific role model both on and off the rink (well, excepy for the tiny matter of not watching his own health sometimes), for brilliance, openness to change and being challenged sportsmanship, good nature.... mind you, trying to follow someone like this could be daunting :biggrin: but good on the youngsters for aiming high.

The number - along with the juniors clearly influenced by him - is definitely growing, as it should.

I haven't seen that and will probably manage to steer past with my usual blithe ignorance :) but seriously, I put it down to what Aussies call the tall poppy syndrome, some folk just have to snipe at the highly successful and search (if it takes them till doomsday) for ways to 'cut them down to what the envious thinks is a proper size.

Yuzuru is waaaayyy more loved than he is disliked, his place in the hearts of the fans he cares about is secure, and the good thing is, as he said at CWW, he feels and knows it.
 
Call me an evil, from this season, I feel like I can just laugh the haters off :dev2: :p Whatever happens to Yuzuru in his future, no one can change the fact that he is two times Olympic gold medalist. I will relax and just enjoy his skating and the competition :)
 
Anyone know why Yuzu isn't signed to sports wear brands like Mizuno even though he has the perfect body, beauty and career to be a sportswear model??

Maybe he is trying to avoid the possible increase in accidents since people will be too absorbed stairing at his ads.
And not trying to rub it in the world that yes, such a beauty exsists. Because he prefers to be mysterious. LMAO
