From what I've heard, he spoke to Plushy and johnny about it at CiONTU (I could be wrong) and given that Jeff and Shae-Lynn were both there too, it's quite likely they came on board at the same time. In a way, it's rather lovely: four of the people he honours as his inspiration/mentors are involved in his first programs after his greatest triumph. This is Yuzu reminding us all that he's one of us, a skating fan above all.

Yuzuru Hanyu had his annual “media day” today where he announced his programs and discussed his hope to land the quad axel.

Excerpts from translated articles and interviews:

“My biggest motivation now is the quad axel and I would like to land it this season, but I haven't landed it perfectly yet. My Loop jump is in better shape than it was during the Olympics."

Flip was never his favorite jump. And as Xeyra pointed out probably to help his injury

I thought so too. There's different sources saying different things right now so I will fix that.

First jump is the 4Lo, with a very short entry.

As for the layouts, I think it's really pointless to think about them. He trolls. Who knows what he'll actually do come ACI, or even better the GPs.
He wants the 4A this season, or rather, aims for it, but who knows what the things he says mean in his dictionary. So best bet? Just wait.

Ahhhhhhhhh~ I came here as soon as I saw the news! Gotta hand it to him and team Cricket, not a bleep before news broke! Very happy those around him can keep it zipped! And so happy about the choices since it's just so him to pick music and programs that have special meaning to them. And the fact that he got to ask them for permission/blessings in person to use them! How much more manga-like can his life get?.

Not going to stress out about layout now since I think it's bound to change throughout the season. I will just continue to pray for his good health and hope he stays injury-free.

Costume will be Weir inspired, if not Weir designed, I think that's a given!
