Gabby already has Carmen so we're safe!
Wait, Bet also had Carmen last season so we're not in fact safe from TCC double choices.
If Yuzu skates to Carm- No, he doesn't skate to the program-that-must-not-be-named :roll5:

OK, POTO 2.0, then.
Beat me, but I would have less problems with POTO 2.0 than You-Know-What :laugh2:

#Sidenote: if there's any skater in the world who could sell me *beep* or any kind of program (warhorse, recycling, whatever), well it's Yuzu I guess

So Yuzu has always been on the top of the game, since junior skater. Looks like he's the only one who's always been in Special category.

Interesting, wonder how did they do the classification, ban when he was a Junior, I mean in 2008 he was barely 2008-2009, and even Yuzuru says that Riuji and Keiji were more constant than him

Yuzu won Novice A championship in 07/08 so he got to compete in junior nationals and got bronze the same season. He was pretty young and usually you get a chance to compete at senior nationals if you rank high enough in junior nationals, but he was too young to compete. I’m guessing that could’ve factored into the decision if the timeline is correct.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzPStmdGhtg I'm also re-watching this Fan-cam of Yuzu's first public practice of Notte Stellata. The ice is cleared, all the other skaters are watching, it's an amazing moment.

It really is, curiously intimate and absolutely exquisite... I do think Haru yo Koi will develop into something just as beautiful, and can't wait for it to show up as a gala piece this year (as I think it's going to?)

I'm hoping TWO NEW programs! Please Yuzu, have mercy on your fans.
But then...what if it's...Carmen?
Then It will be, Yuzu, bring back LGC, please!

Could be worse, he could have fallen in love with Doryzu and decided to burnish it up into his FS (with instrumentals since he doesn't skate to songs in Japanese outside Japan)

I don't think we can rule LGC out but I'm with you, two new ones and no warhorses (I'm hoping for a Japanese piece for one. Or at least something dark and powerful for one, and bright, maybe jazzy, but fun for the other)

Don't jinx it! No Dory please

And, as much as I like to joke about it, I would be really surprised if he recycles LGC. After the Olympics, Yuzu's probably ready for a new start. Don't think he'll recycle a program from a previous quad.

I don't know if I'd be surprised if he brought back LGC. We did see that tiny clip of him basically doing the 4S3T from LGC during the Pyeongchang gala practice when he didn't really need to be doing quads until he was healed up. I do hope for 2 new programs, the more the better!

Maybe he's inner demon is like "have to be clean once. have to be clean once.":coffee:
But joking aside, I do want to see two new programs too, warhorse or not.

I am going to view all the interesting program choices by his fellow country teammates as a sign that his will be too! After all, this is the season after the Olympics, and he DID recycle both programs last season. Make my wish come true!! I will be crazily updating SNS come first week of August.

Hopefully someone will sub this video one day. Very interesting to see how the newspaper decides on what will be on the front page and how they pick the pictures.

160105 Yuzuru Hanyu Who will make it to the Newspaper Headlines?

We will all go totally bonkers waiting for the news... and then when we GET the news, furiously speculating on the costumes, the layout...

More Yuzu posting from Olympic Channel
Seriously: I wouldn't be surprised, if they did some live-correspondance about Yuzu's program reveals at TCC :laugh2:
They even wrote a full article about his Autumn Classic attendance.

I have to be honest: Some OC posts are little bit stupid, but I can't complain about the current Yuzu-boom :rolleye:
