If not Jeff and SLB, a choreography by Yuzu himself would be exciting to look forward to. A program by Lambiel would be interesting as well. Personally I’d love to see a Nanami Abe program for an adult Yuzu.
What are the chances he’ll go back to David Wilson? The past competitive programs are not my favorite but I’m curious to see how things have evolved and that Notte Stella & Haru yo Koi are beautiful (even though an EX and competitive programs are quite different).

Re food - Energy bar would be an option for those with smaller appetite but needs higher caloric intake.
I guess Yuzu’s 3000+ makes sense considering the intensity of his daily physical activity. And since he has lots of muscles and has been doing lots of physical activity since childhood, his metabolism should be really quick and can handle all those calories.
(Very belated but thank you for the translation, Yude!)

Here you go. It's not exactly what you want but close. Taken from a fireworks show in Kanto today -Seimei. Not as exquisite as the hope&legacy one, but still very powerful.

I saw that earlier, they didn't do it today for the first time. It's just that at the Olympics it gives a very strong and powerful impression so I really wondered if they could include it in the ceremony of Tokio OG 2020.

Oh that is utterly gorgeous (how must it feel to have fireworks displays inspired by you? - of course they are very apt for our Yuzuru)

That would be so amazing if he choreographed his own program(s). :luv17:

Didn't Shae-Lynn say it was a collaboration more than just hers last time? I'd like to think he'd bring in her or Jeff to help fine-rune it - the man is a perfectionist - but yes, given that now he feels free to do his own thing... his own thing is getting more and more fascinating all the time.

This waiting is driving me bonkers....

This is so adorable:yay: homework I guess? To list local specialty? The kid listed Yuzu as Sendai's specialty. I'm curious what the other ones are.

Hokkaido, Sapporo: salmon roe
Aomori, Aomori: apple
Iwate, Morioka: cold noodle
Miyagi, Sendai: Yuzuru Hanyu

:laugh2:

I like the ideas, and it is still fine for me if those are not for the competitions :) And yes, I'm always trying not to forget about David Wilson

It was confirmed Yuzuru would participate in 24 hrs TV, it is still early in the morning but the article came first than the announcement on TV of this afternoon.

Yes!! I think it was a fairly good bet, he has for four years and the cause is so close to his heart... when you look at it, he really does do and give so much for it.

Yuzuru visits (visited?) Naraha again and sees the people he met 3 years ago, the aunties doing sewing class. And people Yuzuru has met in these 7 years at effected areas are invited to the special ice show in Sendai. The kids skaters will also skate with Disney characters in Sendai, but if I am reading it right, they will not skate with Yuzuru since it says they have 2 special ice shows. We'll see :)

The theme of 24 hrs TV this year is "People (things) that changed my life", and Yuzuru answered "The rink in Sendai".

Awww I can’t wait 😃. Maybe he will skate Haru Yo Koi 💞

Thanks for the detail. Is it pre-filmed? I want him to skate to Yumi's come spring. But that version has a much faster pace. :slink:

I rewatched Yuzuru's segments in 24hrs TV :)

2017:
a boy has asthma, collaboration with Hiromi Go, "Ienaiyo" (pre-recorded)

2016:
girl skaters from Kumamoto and Kumamon, "When you wish upon a star"(pre-recorded), "White Legend" (LIVE)

2015:
invited nearly 100 people from Fukushima etc, and collaboration with girls choir from Fukushima and Fumiya Sashida, "Requiem of Heaven and Earth", "Hana-ni-nare" (performances were pre-recorded but he came to Budokan during the live broadcast and watched video footage with other casts.)

2014:
invited people from Tohoku, "Romeo and Juliet (#1)" (LIVE)

Every year, the segment included short documentary (kind of) and lasted for 20 minutes or so. I still get emotional when I see one of the Johnny's members cried watching "Hana-ni-nare". I REALLY REALLY hope there will not be any commentary during the performances because it is not necessary at all, please NTV :noshake:
