The idea of Yuzu crying last year makes me lose it (not that I’m in great shape at the moment), and if this happens again... I know it’s part of the sport, but for one person to have to endure so much just seems cruel.

Faint positive notes from fans at the stadium:
-He didn't favor a foot afterwards noticeably
-He looked thoughtful, not necessarily in pain
-The fall did not look as bad as the one last season

We believe in Yuzu's fighting spirit, and also his experience to tell him what the right thing is to do now.
Honestly my stomach turned over when I saw it, but I'm going to wait.

I guess that's more just in case behavior to not put too much stress on foot


I think it's better to take out 4lo for free today and skate clean with 3 quads

I’m really hoping he’s just (finally) taking care of himself, that the two falls left him winded but not injured, etc. But blind panic probably won’t help either. Unfortunately, nothing will help and blind panic is all I have.

After reading Interceptor's update, I went to watch the run thru 2X.
The fall doesnt look as bad as last year's one. Its 4 Lutz that caused the awkward fall
Thereafter, Yuzuru skated round, counting & thinking. He might be changing his jump content.

I would prefer Yuzu take out 4L this time and just do 3 quads, he can still win this GP. He can aim at breaking his WR somr other time

he can break WR even without 4lo, good triple will be worth as much as 4lo with not good landing

I think last year left everyone inclined to panic for him... But people at the hotel said he was walking okay, which he couldn't and wouldn't if there was a problem (just as an aside, isn't it incredible that all over the world we can see the fall, fret and get reassured in real time??? Because he's Yuzu, everyone there knows how the rest of us are worrying...)

What is wonderful is that being Yuzu, he has alternates and options to slot in. Many skaters couldn't do it as well...

I remember when he watered down the layout of LP because of knee pain in last year of ACI (was it last year?), he couldn't skate well. But if it happens this time, he would be enough for the podium finish, am I right?

and here i thought i could finally watch him in more relaxed mode after his SP yesterday but i guess life of a FS fan is never easy i hope he isnt too hard on himelf and can stay calm cause he probably is angry at himself

regarding SP, i loved the program since beginning (not so much the music as some posters said) but this time around it was even mor magical!! no wonder he was happy with this performance, idk what it is but something made this one special for me, he didnt miss the details this time (or maybe he did, and if he did cant imagine how gorgeous this program can be!!), everything was with the music, i am a little upset that he changed the entry into 3A since its my favourite ever but program is just gorgeous i can forgive him for it
