Today was tiring and a lot other Hanyu fan's I met felt the the same. But in the end we all agreed in one thing, Yuzu has the strong will to comeback. So all he needs to do is rest, renew his mind and he will be fine.

Tonight might be disappointing for Yuzu, but he did amazing after missing competitions for 4 months and coming back from an injury. Yuzu does it all the time and made it seem so easy, but it's not. It's incredibly hard and he is amazing. Sending all my positive thoughts to him and wishing him a free skate that allows us to see his beautiful bright smile.
And not only he is a brilliant athlete, he's a great person as well. After his short, he did not blame it on anything but himself, he showed concern for his teammate, he showed respect towards other competitors. He smiled, made some jokes and took everything in stride. I admire him so much.

"I think I couldn't concentrate enough. Of course, I know I have trained a lot, but having not good result means I haven't trained a lot. There is one more day before the day after tomorrow, I will make good use of tomorrow and want to redeem myself utmost in FS. (about 4 months break with no competition) I have experiences about that so I don't think I have problem. But I have many regrets I couldn't perform this program perfectly here in Japan, I will take this kuyashii feeling to the day after tomorrow. What I can do today is that I'm going to fix the errors and have good rest. (how did you put your thoughts into the performance today?) I got panicked a little bit, I failed in the first jump and got panicked a little, and after that, I think I tried too hard. I can't be satisfied with the result, I will do my best aiming for the performance I can be satisfied with fully. Thank you very much."

Thank you, yude, that was exactly what it looked like. It was distressing to watch this dearly loved person and brilliant skater have a difficult time. I remind myself that he'll deal with it in his own way, and i'm so thankful to be following. May he be well and happy!!!

Pop or no, that was a stunning performance. The height and distance on that Axel!

Yuzu's comments and looking at the protocols (funny as some of the numbers are) makes me feel better about everything.

You've said it for me, too! All of Yuzu's comments posted here, all of the press conference, and especially everyone's comments here.

I couldn't watch the program cause I was workimg bit I watched when I got home and apart from the 2s mistake it was really good. The stsq was amazing! The only thing that made me sad was his disappointed face😭

Also I saw the 3a stats and 😮😮 what more does he have to do to get +5? Fly across the ice rink?

About the LP, i'm not worried because I know he will fight back, like always. I only want him to be satisfied, even if it's not winning. For me these competions after the olympics are a gift to us,seeing him on the ice is enough.

I can't wait to see Origin again. For me, it is the most beautiful but also the most demanding Yuzu program so far. (maybe the most beautiful male program I've ever seen)

Fingers crossed for a clean skate! :cheer:

Since I am a newbie why was his popped sal invalidated? He rotated it but was not given points. Are all popped jumps invalid?

Well, it's a new day, I hope Yuzu can have a safe and productive training day in preparation for tomorrow!
As a fan through wins and losses, Yuzu has never made me regret cheering for him. He always brings something unique and brilliant in the end.
