This is interview of Satomi Ito with some beautiful costumes. She said she started making Yuzuru's costumes in 2014 and has made 10 at least so far. In 2016, She was given the music and asked to draw the design on her own at first (she looks like talking about the costume of Swan). When Yuzuru first wore Swan's costume, the larger stones were on the sleeves, but he took them off right away because he couldn't jump due to the stones' weight.

I miss him already. I'm really hoping we get to see him on the first half of Fantasy on ice? I wonder if he'll make it?

Today Miki Ando's participation was confirmed in their 6th announcement. Last year, Yuzuru's was confirmed in the 8th announcement on April 27. I still have hope

He's not going to miss FaOI in Sendai, at least.

Thank you for sharing! I remember Yuzu fidgeting with his sleeves a lot when he was practicing in this costume at Skate Canada, so I always wondered if a change was made since it looked the same later in the season.

Eh he actually appeared on TV more than other athletes considering all the times he goes ninja mode....But 186 hours translates to in total eight whole days, which isn't that much compared to say celebrities etc. When are we seeing Yuzu again T T

I think this is cool https://www.factmag.com/2019/04/24/kelly-moran-origin/
Origin is an acoustic follow-up to her brilliant 2018 Warp debut Ultraviolet, and, according to the label, is a tribute “to the drive, determination and perseverance of Yuzuru Hanyu, the world-renowned figure skater from Japan who Moran considers one of her idols.”

It is so nice to know that Yuzu inspires so many people. I'm curious about de music :hap85:

Yuzuru was selected as special strengthening athlete for 2019 by JSF.

And an event by JSF was taken place in Tokyo today, but Yuzuru was absent because he is in the training camp in overseas now. (Japanese word is "海外合宿", I wonder if this just means he went back to TCC and is training there.)

I hope he is making new program :)

It's kinda weird to call TCC "海外合宿" (its not a camp, its his base...), and we know something caused his inability to attend the monument ceremony from 20 April to 29 April, so now it sounds like it is this 'camp'. If it was just training at TCC, he could have easily shift the schedule to fit the monument reveal, especially when his coaches aren't there right now. I wonder what camp this is?

Also a German article on the worlds biggest sports stars (love how they pick 7 people and Yuzu is one of them). Based on google translate, it appears to say 'more Japanese go to see him than cherry blossoms' (referring to the 100,000 parade and attending competitions) It called him "Ariel, der Luftgeist" (anyone who understand German knows what that mean?)

Same thought here. I could find only this article which reported Yuzuru's absence so far, wish we could have more information.

Yude, what does 'special strengthening athlete' mean? Japan's Team A

In Japanese, it is "特別強化選手” and it doesn't fit into English perfectly. But it means the athletes in the special category and they are supported by JSF the most. And there are also secondary and the third categories "強化選手A" and 強化選手B”.
