Thanks @Interspectator for the translation.
Yuzu is really all out when frustrated. Yuzu your hand that looked like swelling did you hit something before going to an interview. (I hope not)
Its okay Yuzu you got it now and it will continue to be with you.

Congratulations to Yuzuru! Once again, he has tossed his hat over a wall and followed it. He said he will do the quad lutz, and so he did in an ice show no less. As David Wilson noted, when Yuzuru wants something, he WILLS it to happen.

And with the quad lutz here, can the quad axel/quad flip be far behind?

My devout prayer as a fan is that unlike the past two seasons, Yuzuru will be injury free and skate the way he wants to this season. Go Yuzu!

Toshi's blog was very touching; I have to say I enjoy his writing style and felt like I was witnessing exactly what he was describing. Thanks for all the updates everyone; off season is harder for me to keep up. Televised show can't come soon enough!

In my innermost thoughts
'It's okay, it's enough,
Don't overdo it'

Those feelings and
'i want to see it once more
You can do it Yuzu!'

my own feelings were mixed
and were indecipherable

When I read this, I laughed because this is exactly me being Yuzuru's fan for years  Toshl is really becoming one of us, isn't he?

Thank you for your translation!

Yes I felt like I watched a whole episode of a drama, except through words, just reading it.

Also ABC or whichever broadcasting company must have paid huge price for such a strict embargo over any snippet of Yuzu photo and video at Kobe...Almost every other skaters have already posted photos qnd videos . Well they have done the job, I've now cleared my whole Saturday for the 6 hr broadcast run from Toyama to Kobe

Also Yuzu's new photobook "Yuzu'll be back ~ dancing on the edge" is released today. Looks like it may contain FaOI and the 4Lz too :luv17:
I like the title  (how coincidental it is released right after 4lz came back). Cant wait for it to reach my local Kinokuniya (I am in need of more Yuzu photos)

Yep, Toshi sees what we see all right. (Okay, so it never gets old all these people confirming what we all feel :luv17:)

There can never be too many (expecially given that we are still waiting on Sendai videos let alone Kobe!!!!!)

I cannot wait for the footage of Yuzu's glorious 4Lz and Scott Moir freaking out over it!

I cross all my fingers he stays healthy

Hi everyone, this is my first-ish post (just accidentally deleted my first post, whoops). I recently converted from a casual fs fan to a diehard Yuzuru Hanyu fan and aficionado of the sport in general. I used to only watch the Olympics, except I've always loved Michelle Kwan, and I've watched many videos of her on YouTube. In March, YouTube suggested a clip of Yuzuru's and Han Yan's 2014 COC collision and Yuzuru's subsequent fs, and out of morbid curiosity I watched it, without knowing who he was. Even during that rough skate, I could tell he was special, and I was moved by his artistry and character. A quick Google search revealed that the guy I just watched beautifully persevere thru his skate is actually a double OGM and perhaps (definitely for me) the GOAT. I thought I should check out his most recent Olympic freeskate to see him at his best... and from then on I was hooked! I didn't even know at the time that he was injured! I've now watched all his competitions from 2004-2018, one more season till I'm caught up! And I've been scrolling thru his GS fan fest as I go... it adds so much more detail (and drama! :D) to the performances. Yuzuru is the epitome of a mentally strong complete skater, and an inspiration to me as I strive to be a mentally strong complete musician, seamlessly blending technique and artistry. His success despite not only injuries but also asthma inspires me as a concert pianist, because I have a number of health issues that seriously threatened my music career (or any career, at one point), and while my health is more under control than it used to be, some days it feels like a true uphill battle to pursue a performance career. But I tell myself if Yuzuru can go out there and perform despite asthma and injury, I can go out there and perform despite my health issues. And then I watch 2012 world's fs or 2018 Olympics fs to get me motivated :D

Welcome, thanks for sharing your personal journey. You will do great as a pianist :yes2: and as fellow Yuzu fans we are here to cheer you on :hap10:

Welcome! I know what you mean about Yuzu being an inspiration: at the time early last year that I re-found skating (after being a casual fan years ago) I was having not serious but draining health problems and feeling sorry for myself... and what some of the skaters but above all Yuzuru have fought through made me feel decidedly braver (if a little embarrassed at my self-pity). Plus, he fires the imagination in a way that only the very best in any field can... witness the art, and the ballet, in his honour as well as the young skaters being inspired by him.

Sending heaps of karmic success wishes for your music!

Welcome and please feel free to come and post often.

We will get broadcacts all the way to August I think. Think about it this way, if all the shows are immediately broadcast after the shows, we will have nothing to live by when he disappears again after Toyama in mid June. At least now we have at least one broadcast to look forward to each week after Toyama. Cant wait for Friday/Saturday when we can marathon through Sendai, Toyama, Kobe shows finally.

On a happy note, Yuzu new photobook shot straight to no.1 on Amazon sports category within one day of sale∼ based on previews people posted already it looks absolutely amazing , especially the HYK, Masquerade and People honor prize pictures
