Yuzuru Hanyu: 2019-2021

He seemed so tired on FS on JNats.
I am thnakful he wasn't injured.
Hoping for the best in worlds and 4CC for him.

ISU and JSF have never treasured Hanyu and he knows it perfectly.
He keeps competing against himself , he's so painfully honest and compassionate even in the hardest time, I continuously witness his exceptional human being.

Fortunately Yuzu is so good at math
How is it that there's only one point difference between 4A and 4Lz?? Why does it remind me of Mao's 3A BV in 2010 Olys?:biggrin:

No one's done a 4A before. ISU doesn't want to encourage people to do the jump? It's not the same as a 3A, which men did frequently at that stage.

Now, is Yuzuru going to go for six quads at Worlds? :O
4Lz after 4A. What. So a layout like this?

4A
4Lz
4Lo
4S
4T-3T
4T-Eu-3F/3S
3A-3A/3T

That's horrifically messed up. How would one practice that?

My guess is that he doesn't have any fixed plan since he hasn't landed 4A yet (he said he was hoping to land it by/in February), actually I won't be surprised if he reduced the number of quad if he does 4A in the program.

I heard that Ms. Kobayashi from JSF touched the subject of baffling judging Yuzuru received at ACI 2019. It was on MOI pamphlet so I am not able to read it. I am curious what she said there.

Little benefit in doing 5 quads with a 4A vs without a 4A. That said, how does one warm up five types of quads and three fairly trippy combinations in six minute?

Like all of us, I'm interested that he wants to explore Russian training. I hope that can be arranged if he wishes! Has anything more been said since the GPF interview?

Wow, next year, fantasy on ice will make a stop in Shanghai

Yuzuru will be there, I am 99.99 % sure

No, he hasn't talked about it after GPF. But he said before that his origin of skating came from Russia partially and I won't be surprised if he goes to Russia for short training in future.

Yuzuru has tons of love and respect for Russia, he decided to skate injured to his Origin FS last year at Rostelecom Cup, also Bestemianova &Bobrin experience was so important to him.
